that Jennifer Aniston’s first fragrance – which bears the name of the actress – is not selling well.
Reports blame Jennifer for not promoting it enough. The verdict: Not true, says Jennifer’s representative.
“It’s absolutely not true… The fragrance was launched specifically for [London’s famed department store] Harrods and Jennifer went there personally to launch it and to do press,” defends her publicist Stephen Huvane.
He continues: “The launch was one of Harrods’ most successful with the fragrance selling out that day…
The U.S. launch of the fragrance will happen sometime this year and Jennifer will be actively promoting the launch here in the U.S.”
Jen will be in the February issue of Allure and they have released some great photos and some unexpected comments.
On “The Rachel”, created by Jen’s hairstylist and friend Chris McMillan:
“I love Chris but he’s the bane of my existence because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look,” she remembered. “How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen.”
On beating Chris McMillan with the blow-dryer:“[McMillan] thinks I’m a closet hairdresser,” said the actress. “I’ll take the hair-dryer right out of his hands. He’ll kill me for saying this, but I’ve surpassed him in that department: I’m faster with the blow-dryer.”
On The Bachelor: “You know what I find fascinating? The Bachelor. I was mesmerized by how these girls, they meet this guy, they have three dates together or something, and they’re weeping as though they’ve just lost the love of their life. I don’t understand that.”
“My friends and I were in Atlanta, and we went to this restaurant. My one friend is ordering, you know, sweetbreads with foie gras, the bone-marrow pasta, the buffalo tortellini, and I’m like, ‘This just doesn’t quite do it for me.’ You won’t see me ordering pheasant or rabbit. You know what I’ve just started to really love lately is Brussels sprouts. Usually, Brussels sprouts smell like feet to me. But these were sliced and sautéed and really yummy. I’m going to make that.”
On pushing the limit stylewise: “I’ve been glammed up; I’ve been glammed down, which is really more me,” says the actress. “I didn’t wear mascara in [my new movie] Just Go With It. It’s fun to transform a little bit—what do I have to lose?”
Allure is out January 25th
Jen stars with Adam Sandler in ‘Just Go For It’ on February 11th.
It looks like the chance of Jennifer reprising her role as psychiatrist Glenn on Cougar Town are slim, reveals Courteney Cox. Radar Online reports that during a Q & A panel at the Winter Television Critics Association, Cox said she “doubts” Aniston will make another appearance. When asked Cox replied: “I don’t know — I mean maybe — she’s got so many … she’s literally, I think, did four movies this year.”
Courteney looks back with great fondness to the latest collaboration with Jen. “It felt like just fun”, she said.
“I mean it didn’t feel like Monica and Rachel at all, which was great because our characters are so different. But it just felt natural. We had a ball”, Cox continued.

that backstage at the People’s Choice Awards, Jennifer had comforting words for Taylor Swift, who’s relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal has just ended, and told her ‘to hang in there’. The verdict: Not true, Jen’s representative let E! News know.
“No, it is not true at all. Jennifer was only at the People’s Choice Awards for about 20 minutes. She arrived, presented Adam [Sandler] his award and then had to go to another commitment right after. She did not even see Taylor there.”
That’s not all. The National Enquirer thought that Jen, being on a roll, also reached out a helping hand to Lindsay Lohan as a mentor, after being asked by Lindsay’s mother Dina. No such thing, reports Gossip Cop, who asked Dina Lohan for a comment. Her answer was short and simple: “Lol! No!”.

For the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Jen switched the sides and questioned her Just Go With It co-star Nicole Kidman.
The two actresses, who have known each other for over five years now, talked about Nicole’s life with her dreamboat Keith Urban, her daughter Sunday Rose and the rural life in Nashville, Tennessee.
When it comes to the ‘true love or a great career’ question, the two agree immediately that great success can’t be everything in life.
We also learn that if Jennifer could turn back time she would live her life with more fun and with less unnecessary angst.
It’s an interesting interview between two talented women and we can look forward to seeing these two on the big screen together.
Just Go With It will be released on February 11, 2011.
Just Go With It co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler shared the stage last night at the 37th People’s Choice Awards, held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
Aniston presented the first award of the evening to Sandler, who won the category Favourite Comedic Star. Adam also won Favorite Comedic Movie for his film Grown Ups.
Aniston, who was nominated for Favorite Movie Actress but lost to Kirsten Stewart, wore a black Dolce & Gabbana pants and vest.
The release of Just Go With It is only a little more than a month away (February 11). Watch the new tv-spot on the movie’s facebook page.
