After Lately + Another Honor

Jennifer is set to appear on an episode of After Lately, airing – if nothing changes in the TV schedule – on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 11 PM on E! So mark your calendars.

In other news, Jen has been chosen as the Sexiest Woman of All Time, rightfully so in our opinion, of course, by Men’s Health magazine.

You can read their criteria (as sexiness is subjective) as well as a short interview with Jen at the link.

If you could name one woman the sexiest of all-time, who would you have picked?
It’s a tie between Bridgette Bardot and Gloria Steinem. But if I had to choose one, I’d say Gloria because, well, she’s the full package. That’s sexy.

Looking back, who is the least sexy character you’ve ever played?
The least sexy character was Jeannie Bueller on the TV version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

You’re one of few celebrities out there without a Twitter or Facebook account. If we gave you the reigns to both of ours for a single post, what would you want our readers to know?
One single post… what would I want readers to know… I really shouldn’t be holding these reigns.

Most of our guys are funny and fit. Besides six-pack abs and the ability to make you laugh, what’s the next-sexiest quality that a guy can have?
Sexiest thing about a man—other than abs—is if he can make me laugh, has compassion, kindness, and an accurately sized ego.

You’ve given dozens of interviews to men’s magazines over the years. What’s something surprising that most men still don’t know about you?
What readers don’t know: I can breakdance. No, that’s a lie. But wouldn’t that be cool?

She is also in the January edition of InStyle magazine, sharing some beauty tips, so check it out!

St. Jude PSA 2011

Watch Jen interact with the adorable Hayli and her mom in this year’s PSA for St. Jude’s Thanks & Giving campaign here.

Jennifer has also written a post for The Huffington Post with Marlo Thomas to bring awareness to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. You can read their post here.

“Hi, Marlo and Jennifer here–posting together!

For a few years, we had a great time playing mother and daughter on Friends. Not only did we share tons of laughs together (and who couldn’t laugh on the set of Friends?), but we also discovered that our most famous TV characters had a shared legacy as women. In a way, Friends’ Rachel Green was not all that different from That Girl’s Ann Marie — they were both independent, strong-minded and funny. So I guess you could say that, in the annals of TV history, we’re cross-generational soul-sisters!

[...]

Since 2006, Jen has donated her time and talent by filming spots for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, sharing the screen with one or more of our adorable St. Jude kids. You’ve probably seen the spots on TV (or in movie theaters, or even on airplanes). One mother did, and it changed her life. She had a very sick little girl named McKenna, whose symptoms — chronic headaches — persisted, even after several consultations with the family doctor. Then the mom saw one of Jen’s St. Jude spots, featuring a child with brain cancer, who had suffered the same symptoms. Empowered by what she saw, she rushed her daughter to St. Jude for treatment. That little girl is alive today.

McKenna’s mom wrote Jennifer a touching letter, thanking her for guiding her to St. Jude — and for Jen, the experience was profoundly moving. Can you imagine anything more rewarding than knowing that you somehow helped save a child’s life?”

St. Jude’s TV Spots – November 22

Jennifer has been a longtime supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. According to a recent press release, she will be in their annual Thanks & Giving campaign again this year.

“Starting this November, Jennifer Aniston, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, George Lopez, Shaun White, Dwyane Wade and singer Luis Fonsi will join Marlo Thomas in helping raise awareness and funds for St. Jude, one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other deadly childhood diseases.

[...]

[...]

‘It’s always so inspiring to meet the St. Jude patients and their families each year,” said Jennifer Aniston, who appears alongside St. Jude patient Hayli in one of this year’s television spots. “They have this incredible strength and spirit that remind you that although they are just kids they are fighting for their lives against a very adult disease.’”

Elle Honor & “Five” Screening

It seems as if there was another screening for Five last night at the Ray Kurtzman Theater in Century City with a press conference which Jennifer attended. Maybe we’ll hear more about it soon. There are tagged pictures on IsoPix.be.

Jenny Cooney also tweeted yesterday that she was “[t]alking to #jenniferaniston #patriciaclarkson & #jeannetripplehorn today about their TV movie #Five to promote #breastcancerawareness”

I also found a clip from the American Cinematheque event where you can see Jennifer laughing during Garry Shandling’s speech. It’s the second one here.

Make sure you check out these videos on Access Hollywood from the Elle Women in Hollywood event. Two adorable women giving great speeches. Reese Witherspoon’s speech about Jennifer and Jennifer’s thank you speech.

I typed up both of their speeches. You can read Jennifer’s here and read Reese’s sometime soon in the Quotes section.

Jennifer To Present At RDJ Honor

At the Presentation of the 25th Annual American Cinematheque Award, Robert Downey Jr. will be honored this Friday, October 14. It takes place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Why am I telling you this?

Apparently, Jennifer will participate in the event alongside Jack Black, Michael Douglas, Robert Downey Sr., The Break-Up‘s Jon Favreau, Jodie Foster, Jared Harris, Anthony Michael Hall, Guy Ritchie, Garry Shandling, Joel Silver and Room 10‘s Robin Wright. The award for Downey Jr. will be presented by a surprise guest. According to American Cinematheque, there will also be a taped message from – among others – Jen’s friend, Ben Stiller.

In the second press release of American Cinematheque, it says “Jennifer Aniston (friend),” so she’ll be there as a friend of Robert Downey Jr.’s. Since they make a difference between participants and taped messages, it looks like she will be there.

You can watch the live stream of the red carpet here on UStream. It’s supposed to start at 6:30 PM PDT.
