News and Updates

BACK FROM VACATION
Okay, I'm back from vacation but not going to be on the computer much the upcoming days or weeks because it's freaking hot. I'll try my best, though. And I'm leaving for Norway on August 11, as well.

Anyway, I only added one new quote from Justin Long and a new experience for today. Thank you, Kathy Bear for the quote.

Sadly, I have not gotten any fans' opinions yet. It doesn't have to be much, my text is the simple result of a bored day at the pool, so don't compare the length or anything. Doesn't have to be a love letter either. Not that I'm begging or anything, I would just like to read something from other fans as well. :)

There are three nice career-related rumors going around:

"Jennifer Aniston is reportedly in talks with Dreamworks Animations to provide a voice over for the sequal to the 2006 box-office hit Over the Hedge, the story of a scheming raccoon who fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food which featured the voices of Steve Carrell, Garry Shandling, Bruce Willis, William Shatner and Eugene Levy. The rumour is that Aniston will voice the character of Carly, a spirited rabbit who shall play the love interest of RJ the racoon(voiced by Bruce Willis). The films full storyline however is still unknown. Though the sequal has not been confirmed yet director Jeffrey Katzenberg has said that he is seriously considering a sequal."

"Last weekend, Kristin HahnJennifer Anistons Production Partnertook a detour from a family trip to Aspen to visit the Loft. It was nearly a decade ago when Kristin first read Grace and Grit--the compelling story of Ken and his wife Treyas five-year journey through Treyas illness, treatment, and death. After being approached by Producer/Director Steven Brill, regarding the vision to bring Grace and Grit to the silver screen, Kristin took the book to a meeting with Jen, who, upon seeing it, said, 'I know that book, what are you doing with that book?'" Read more...

Both projects seem like nice roles and I hope at least one of them gets done. And last but not least, Jennifer is possibly going to be directing Robin Wright Penn in a short story about women's issues. jenny135 read it in US Magazine a few days ago and Jennifer was seen at the Moxie Pictures studios a few days ago for the second time which led us to guess that this might have something to do with Glamour magazine. They did a similar thing with Gwyneth Paltrow and had her direct a short film based on a winning script submitted by a reader of the magazine. The magazine picked Moxie Pictures to develop, produce and cast the film, so who knows. Another possible, though small, project for Jennifer.

AWAY ON VACATION

Alrighty then, before I'm off for vacation, I added a quote from Vincent Cassel, and two quotes from Jennifer, talking about Vince Vaughn. And, of course, a few articles and transcripts again:

Can Mag, May 2006
Philadelphia Inquirer, May 2006
DVD Feature - The Good Girl
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, February 2001
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, August 2002
Entertainment Weekly, April 2006
Entertainment Weekly, November 2005
Time Magazine, January 06
San Francisco Chronicle, November 05

See ya at the end of July if everything goes as planned. :) Don't be shocked if someone else takes over the updates.

ARTICLE UPDATE

Okay, I only added another six articles/interviews/transcripts today. Check them out:

A Girl's World interview, 2001
Question & Answer interview, 2001
The Stuff You've Never Seen
TOW Johnny Makes Friends, May 1998
Redbook interview, August 2001
TV Hits magazine, 1997

I thought today was Thursday, but it turns out, it's Wednesday only, which means I still have one day to update the site before I'm off to vacation with my cousin. So, I might have something to add tomorrow, as well. :)

PIN YOURSELF TO THE FAN MAP

Even though it's already the 12th where I live, here's another little update: a Fan Map where you can see where other Jennifer fans come from. Simply click on the given link and add yourself to the map. Tomorrow will be a better update, hopefully. If not, the day after, I guess.

TEMPORARY GUESTBOOK

Okay, after trying for 3 hours to add a guestbook, I finally settled on the easy way. It will probably change in the future because I'm not really satisfied with the way it is now.
Visit the guestbook. That's it for today. I'm leaving on Friday, so hopefully, I'll manage to add a few articles tomorrow. :)

TINY UPDATE
Teensie, tiny update for today: added two new quotes from Vince Vaughn.

8 July 2006

QUOTES; ARTICLES & A LITTLE EXTRA SOMETHING

I added a few new quotes in the Other People on Jennifer section. One from Ben Stiller, two by John Hamburg and one by Stephen Herek, the director of Rockstar. I also added a few other transcripts. Jay Leno, June 1996, a nice interview from 1996, a transcript from an Entertainment Tonight interview with Jann Carl from 1999 and a transcript of an interview with Extra, promoting She's the One. More to come soon.

I also added a section called fans' opinion where you can let everyone who visits this site know why you like Jennifer Aniston so much. I already wrote what I think and I wouldn't mind you guys doing the same. Name, country and the text is all I'm asking for. You can send it to me via e-mail or, if you are a member at the forum, you can send a private message to cookie jar. I'd love to add some of you. :) Check the section out here.
