Very Important site info. Please read

First, I'd like you all to join me in congratulating the new owners of The Jennifer Aniston Center; Maria, Catka, and Kristina! I have all the faith in the world that they will make this site the best Jen site on the web!

Second, I and Josan have decided we don't want to do this site anymore. Here is a link to the info we posted at the site: https://www.anistoncenter.com/updates.htm

Now some of you may be asking why Josan and myself have left. I have ran jacf for 4 years now. We used to be on the ezboard server, and we moved here last September when the site server offered a phpbb for free, and ezboard wanted a lot of money to keep ad free. The site has been going since April of 2003. My goal at JAC was to create a wonderful and informative site about Jen's career. But, I wasn't recieved very well. People, instead of appreciating the hard work ( and trust me, it is hard work to keep a site of this size going) that went into the site, we were comdemned for not showing paparazzi candids of Jen in her personal life. My best friend died and I didn't update the site in a couple months and people posted on other forums how the JAC sucks because we don't update, not to mention that I was accused of lying about my friend dying. But still, I went on with the site, for my love of Jen. But ya know, it started to get to me. It's not about the disrespct that I recieved, but it's about the disrespect Jen recieves from her own fans. Jen is nothing but a barbie doll to I'd say 85% of her fans. Jen has spoken so many times of how she hates having her private life invaded, yet that seems to be ALL her fans are interested in. Do they know anything at all about acting? Does anyone really know how hard it is to make the transition from TV star to movie star? Jen has a lot of talent, and she can go far, but her fans disgrace her. They also disgrace each other. I've never been a part of such mean spirited, selfish, non caring people ever before! I don't want to be a part of it anymore! So I quit!

Please don't get me wrong, I am in no way saying everyone is like this. But many are. And the fact that people keep exploiting the gossipy crap that Jen is adopting, she had a miscarriage, she is pregnant every fucking minute, I want to throw up. I keep a full supply of pepto bismol to read jen forums, and ya know what? I don't want to anymore!

I do want to add that I know there are some very good quality Jen fans out there, people I respect very highly. Most of you are here at this forum. But unfortunatly, you people are the minority. Maybe someday things will be different. I hope so for Jen's sake, because she truely deserves it.

I hope nobody will take my feelings out on your new webmistresses, as they are very good people who will work their asses off to make you a great site. I hope someday I can be an active member of here without my pepto bismol.

Lastly, I don't wish anyone anything but good things. Take care all of you, and those of you who come to bpcf, I'll see you there! LOVE

aw Layla. I dont know what to say to this b/c I'm going to miss you guys as ners of the site and forum. It really brings me to tears. You and Josan have been amazing, and I'm sorry you feel this way about fans. The truth of the matter is that there are a lot of people out there who really do consider Jen a barbie doll w/o considering her acting and it's sad but it's true.You don't have all the time in the world to undate the site and it's very understandable, and it's sad that people can't appreciate the work you've put into this. I hope you two still remain Jen fans despite what you've witnessed in this site. I really wish you two would still continue working on the site, b/c you've been incredible; however, if you do truly feel this way it is not our call to stop you. I really would like to thank you for what you've done for us. You've really broughten Jen fans together. I wish you all the best in everything. I'm confident tnat Catka, Maria, and Kristina will continue where you've left off.

This is so unexpected. I can't believe you're saying good bye! I know I haven't said this before but I truly appreciate everything you've done for JAC. Its one of the best Jen sites, period. thumbsup

Its really sad that some Jen fans don't appreciate your efforts. I'm sure Maria, Catka and Kristina will do a great job but its hard to imagine JAC without you and Josan!

I don't post here all too often, but I visit every day and I completely understand your decision. I just want to thank you (and Josan) for this site and all your hard work. You will be missed. I'm sure Maria, Catka, and Kristina will do a great job and I will continue to visit the site and support Jennifer Aniston. I will also keep visiting The BPFC as it is my favorite Brad website and I'm glad you will both be continuing on there.

I have posted in this site ever since its inception and I just know what Lay and Josan have gone through to keep this place active and going.I can imagine how hard it must've been for both of you to have gone all through these situations to keep this place alive and I admire you for that! thumbsup

hi i dont really post here that often but come everyday. this forum is very good and great to catch up on Jen news and fab pics.
I agree with what you say about Jennifer's private life, but i dont feel that hardly any of the fans on here are making rumors or disrespecting her private life because fans are very supportive and if they see something they dont like in papers or mags they say they hope it isn't true. i hate that her private life is invaded, but that isn't ALL that fans are interested in. they only came to be fans of Jennifer through her acting so they are interested in that a whole lot more. Maybe some arn't proper fans but most of them are hard-core fans.Just like me.
