New Couple Alert? Lindsay Price & Matthew Perry

At the unofficial party for Lipstick Jungle at Dip in NYC on Feb. 2, former Friends star Matthew Perry had partygoers confused Why was he there when he's not on the show?

Well, according to one source, it appears that the 38-year-old actor might have a semi-secret thing going with one of the new show's stars the lovely Lindsay Price. "He snuck in to meet up with Lindsay," the source reveals to OK!, adding that the pair exited the club together later in the evening.

The 31-year-old beauty has reportedly ended her three-year marriage to TV producer Shawn Piller.

'Friends' and 'Gilmore Girls' Flirt With Big-Screen Possibilities

To the delight of couch potatoes everywhere, Hollywood is obsessed with converting our formerly favorite TV shows into big-screen blockbusters. From Sex and the City to X-Files to Arrested Development, yesterdays primetime gems could be tomorrows box-office diamonds. But what of our other long-lived TV favorites? Could the Gilmore Girls rise from the dead to rapidly drench us in dialogue? Will the Friends once again return to their fictional world without black people?

We recently posed the question to Mr. Chandler Bing and Miss Lorelai Gilmore, in the forms of the real-life stars who made them iconic.

I dont know, Lauren Graham said of the possibility of seeing the Gilmores on the big-screen someday. I dont know who makes those decisions. People always ask me that, and Im like, I dont know.

Its interesting, explained Perry, who co-stars with Graham in the upcoming family comedy Birds of America. Because everyones running around doing different things. I think were trying to organize a thing soon.

Wait? Exclusive! Theres a Friends movie in the works?

No, he grinned. I think it would be nice for the six of us to just get together and have dinner.

I have like 2 or 3 people left who still kind of care [about my show], joked Graham. I dont know what the Gilmore Girls movie would be about, probably because the show wasnt really about much. Nothing much happened; we just talked a lot.

Optimistically, she floated the notion of her and Perry joining their collective forces. Maybe we could bring the casts together, she smiled, and do a Gilmore Girls/'Friends movie?

We could! replied Perry enthusiastically. We could do a movie about how you two were always late to the town meetings.

No, I dont think [there will be a film], not Friends anyway, Perry shrugged, dropping a wet blanket on a Ross/Rachel reunion. We are trying to arrange [something], much less a whole reunion thats televised, than were just gonna have food together, I think.

Although it seems like theres no big-screen reunion on the horizon for either shows cast, die-hard fans will inevitably still wait for the day they change their minds. After all, they didnt exactly say never, right?

Would you want to see a Friends or Gilmore Girls movie? What would the plots be?

^ I just read that. lol. I'd rather watch a Gilmore Girls movie, than Friends. Friends ended well, GG's final episode was random, I don't think it was the end the sitcom deserved.

^ Yes, but I still think the end sucked, they'd have worked out on a better one.

MATTHEW PERRY GETS BITTER, FOUL-MOUTHED FOR SHOWTIME
June 20, 2008

Last year, it was David Duchovny making his return to television on Showtime. This year, it's Matthew Perry. The ex-Friends and Studio 60 star will be making his comeback in The End of Steve, a pilot Showtime just ordered.

Perry will play a foul-mouthed (and I mean really foul-mouthed; the first word he utters is apparently a four-letter one starting with C) afternoon TV talk show host who's none too happy with either his professional or his romantic life. Perry is co-writing the script with Peter Tolan, an Emmy-winning writer and veteran of Rescue Me and The Larry Sanders Show. In a press release, Showtime's president called the duo "a twisted match made in heaven" and said Perry seemed perfect for the "bitingly funny" role.

I was surprised and impressed by Perry in Studio 60, and I'm glad to see him heading back to TV. While I chuckle at the thought of Chandler Bing being biting or twisted, I can't wait to see what Perry does with a dark comedy. The description of the character sounds a lot like Duchovny's Hank Moody from Californication, though, no? I guess Showtime has found its niche.

Plot: About a guy whose life didn't quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life.
