Divorced: Aniston-Pitt Split Finalized

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Hollywood's golden couple Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are no longer Mr. and Mrs. as of Friday, Aug. 19.
Their divorce was made official Friday, amongst continued speculation about Pitt's romance with ----- *****, reports "Extra."
"Judgment of dissolution is entered. Marital or domestic partnership status is terminated and the parties are restored to the status of single persons," reads a document obtained by the entertainment newsmagazine.
Neither party has requested alimony, and the Beverly Hill mansion they shared is currently on the market. The marital partnership, which lasted four and a half years, will be dissolved on paper on Sunday, Oct. 2 -- six months after the divorce papers were served.
Despite the painful nature of their breakup, Aniston declines to say anything derogatory about Pitt, who denied having an affair, but did admit to having feelings for "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star *****. Pitt has been keeping company with the actress and her family, son Maddox and newly adopted daughter Zahara.

August 22, 2005
After months of living apart, JENNIFER ANISTON and BRAD PITT are one big step closer to being officially married-no-more. ET confirmed Monday that a judge has signed the Los Angeles Superior Court documents needed to finalize the couple's divorce. According to the papers, the marriage will be effectively terminated on October 2, 2005. Aniston and Pitt initially announced news of their split in January of this year. "We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate," the couple said in a joint statement. Aniston officially filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple began dating in 1998 and married in a lavish ceremony in July of 2000.

^that's sweet, Jen declined AGAIN to say anything derogatory about Brad, who's the bigger person now? And good thing Brad admitted to having feelings for AJ, since you know, its pretty obvious. |

Though I guess it`s good for her - because she can finally move on - I think it`s really sad...theses two people always looked to me like they belonged on top of the cake forever. They seemed so happy together - in every picture they were touching each other and laughing together - I was still hoping they might get back together again...
