This sounds like it will be funny. Echo has alot of films in the works. I'm excited as this looks to be the first one that will be released under it.

I thought they were also producing management.

At least Jennifer is shown as an executive producer for Management. Is Kristen also in the credits?

Great news. Although I'd rather see Jennifer doing less comedies and more drama, action, etc., I'm looking forward to "Baster". Jason Bateman is amazing and great news she's working again with him, being them old friends, it kinda gives me hope for another Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston movie - love them both.

I would like to see her in a drama too, because she's good, but this movies sounds pretty fine too, Jason Bateman is adorable.

Honestly, wish she had done Goree Girls first as that is something different, with her singing talent to show everyone. Another one that I was excited about was The Senator's Wife, which is a drama for her & really something different as she will be a knockout as a sophisticated senator wife with a hidden secret----it is a very mature movie for her. Of course, nice that she's got an early project to do, though.

I don't think Management has Echo as a producer, I am not 100% on this.

According to the credits on Samuel Goldwyn Films, Kristen is not listed:

There are a lot of projects that she intends to produce but one has to expect that when it comes to this business things don't always work out in the order we would like them to. We didn't hear about this project until now where as she has talked about a couple of others so I guess it just depends on what falls into place with everything and this was the one that did first so it'll get started first.

IMDB has Baster showing but refers you to IMDB Pro, which I don't have. Maybe someone could check that out and see if there's any more information about it. Thanks.

I took the liberty to start a new thread for this, Meg, if that's ok with you. Since it is 'all systems go' on this project we might as well.
