Interviewer: We hear of this movie called "Goree Girls." Is that how you -
Jennifer: Goree Girls.
Interviewer: Yeah, it sounds amazing. Are you gonna sing and dance and everything?
Jennifer: Sing, yeah. I'll play guitar.
Interviewer: How's your voice, are you preparing?"
Jennifer: I'm not supposed to know how to really sing in the movie, but.. yeah. No, I can carry a tune, yes.
Owen: You can?
Jennifer: Not going to explain that now or..?
Interviewer: You think that's what you're going to shoot next?
Jennifer: I'm hoping to shoot it. Definitely sometime in the next year. This is, we have been developing it for a couple of years now and it's a really special story.
Interviewer: And is this flat out, 100 percent musical or -
Jennifer: No. Oh, no, no, no, no. It's this story about the first female country western band that's beginn- that starts, forms in prison in order to be for early parol. It's an article that was written in the Texas Monthly by Skip Hollandsworth.
Owen: Texas Monthly has some good articles.
Jennifer: Great. |
