| Great found, Erin. I'm looking forward to watch this movie, low budget films are [most of time] a big surprise for the watchers. "Punk-turned-Yogurt mogul" |

Yes, so far that's the information we have. September 19th is the opening date in the U.S. |

| I am trying to keep a look out for any news if Management has been picked up by an international distributor yet at Cannes. Nothing so far. |

| Did the release date change? Is the movie not able to get the proper funding? Its suppose to be released in 2 months, where is the poster/trailer/buzz/ something |

Just saw this yesterday from Hollywood Reporter.

Quote: Temple Hill has the video game adaptation "Gears of War" in development at New Line, and it produced the Jennifer Aniston starrer "Management," which MGM will release in September.

Trying to think how to say this nicely..there isn't a good way..I've been keeping tabs on Sidney Kimmel Entertainment for quite awhile now. They did Management. From a lot of things I've been reading they are horrible about releasing movies and doing pr for them.Last year they had a winner in Ryan Gosling's Lars and the Real Girl-he was nominated for award after award-it was released in only a handful of theatres. This year this company has put all their effort into Synecdoche, New York .Cost them over 20 million to make and they haven't found a distributor yet. They have shown it at Cannes and a few other festivals.
So I really think Management has been getting less preferential treatment compared to this 20 million dollar film. They said Management cost very little to make-it's a true Indie in every respect!
So we keep waiting.Hope it gets a trailer soon-I love Jennifer in quirky movies. |

| Maybe I shouldnt say this, but its how I feel. If theyre not going to spend the money to market this movie properly, I hope it is delayed. Its up against a movie where the lead actress will be anywhere and everywhere, just like always, promoting to the inth degree. As much as I want to see Jennifer immediately, if not sooner on the big screen, maybe a delay is just what is needed. From what Wyck Godfrey said in Oregon, he planned to take it to take it to some festivals. Then do it, guy. |

| Box Office results are not my concern, because it's an indie. Just agitated that this movie might be shucked to the way side with the possibility of it being dug back up at the last moment, when it's too late. |

Josh Lucas on his role in Management
Quote: "Management," with Jennifer Aniston. "I've seen it and it's very funny," he says of the latter, a September release. "I have a small part in that one -- it's literally a p.o.r.n. star giving advice to Steve Zahn, who is trying to woo Jennifer Aniston's character. It's really fun. I'm choosing films that have an interesting creative life."
