Thank you Erin! That's a nice interview. Maybe it was done the day she taped Oprah, because she's wearing the exact same clothes and jewelry.

Good eye! I wasn't sure where I'd seen her wear that outfit.

Im wondering which project she and Owen were talking about 10 years ago. They are so good together on screen, so natural. I hope to see them in another movie. I love me some Owen Wilson.

Thanks Erin for the great interview and Irina, man, you are the best are details. You are good, girl.

That was what caught my eye, too, I'm trying to think back about what projects were being talked about for her 10 years ago that ended up not being made. I can only think of one, and I'm more willing to bet that it's not that one but rather one that nobody heard of.

Palm Beach Post FL

Excerpt from Inside The Marlins [baseball team]
By Joe Capozzi | Tuesday, February 10, 2009, 08:27 PM

Quote:
Scribes are supposed to ask the questions, but pitcher Burke Badenhop lobbed one on me the other day in Jupiter: Whats it like working with Jennifer Aniston at The Palm Beach Post?

Badenhop went on to explain that hed recently seen the movie Marley & Me, which stars Aniston and is based on the best-selling book by John Grogan about his beloved dog and family. Grogan worked at a newspaper in Fort Lauderdale while his wife, Jenny Vogt, worked at The Palm Beach Post from 1987-1999.

Badenhop got a kick out of seeing Aniston in the movie as a Palm Beach Post reporter but was disappointed when I told him I never worked with the actress. I did have the pleasure of working with Jenny Vogt, but Burke apologetically said hed never heard of her.

Looks as if she was in Santa Monica doing 'Marley' European promotion. Not the best of writes ups, didn't like the way the writer talked about her career since Friends, yes there has been some duds but there has also been some good ones too.

Jennifer Aniston on playing the mother she hopes to become

On the release of her latest film Marley and Me, Jennifer Aniston talks about her plans for a family and a possible future behind the camera.

Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston in Marley and Me

Its easy to dislike Jennifer Aniston. After all, her role in a now-defunct television sit-com amassed her a 65 million fortune, she earns around 8 million a film, nearly all of which have been only marginally successful or complete flops, and her performances for the most part can best be described as mediocre.

In addition, it is virtually impossible to walk past a newsstand without seeing at least one magazine with a picture of her on the cover.

And yet, here she is, on time for our appointment in Santa Monica, looking quite un-movie star-ish. It soon becomes clear that she has an appealing sense of humour and is no stranger to four-letter words.

A few years ago, when she realised she was famous because of her role as the spoiled rich girl Rachel Green in the television series Friends, she said: Im baffled.

"I mean, you think youre the most uninteresting person in the world and then all this happens. You have to wonder, 'Is any of it real?

Today, Aniston is more comfortable with her status, although, prior to our interview, she still had to dodge the paparazzi pack waiting outside.

She has come to talk about her new film, Marley and Me, a tear-jerking tale in which she co-stars with Owen Wilson and a destructive yellow Labrador.

The movie has proved to be a rare box-office success for her in America, although it was castigated by the critics (it is out in Britain next month).

She plays Jenny Grogan who, with her husband, begins a new life in sunny Florida, where together they start a family while dealing with the incorrigible Marley, who earns the description of the worst dog in the world.

At first, Aniston was not sure about portraying a mother, but in the end she embraced the chance to feel out the idea. I want to have children, she says. Thats my plan.

She is currently involved with John Mayer, a musician with a playboy reputation, whom she started dating in April, split with in August and is now back with again.

Magazines are speculating that perhaps Aniston, who turned 40 this week, has finally found happiness after a series of failed romances.

Since her five-year marriage to Brad Pitt ended, she has had short-lived affairs with Vince Vaughn, her co-star in the movie The Break-Up, and the British model Paul Sculfor.

The much-publicised break-up of her marriage to Pitt three years ago continues to haunt her.

Gossip columns regularly delve into the aftermath of the divorce and her supposed feud with Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who began their romance on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, when he and Aniston were still married.

Aniston fuelled the controversy when she recently commented that what Jolie had done was so uncool, although, she says, she cannot understand the continuing interest: Im baffled by it.

Has she discussed it with her ex-husband? No, she says, shaking her head decisively.

Everybody goes through tough times. Youve just got to figure out how to get through them. Its my history and my memory.

"I used to really take things personally but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life. That took me some time to figure out.

Born in Los Angeles, Aniston grew up in show business. Her godfather was the actor Telly Savalas, her mother was a model and actress and her father had a career as an actor in television soap operas.

In 1987, she began her career in New York, in television commercials and off-Broadway productions.

After returning to California and appearing in a number of television comedies, she lost weight, at the suggestion of an agent, and won the Friends role of Rachel Green.

The series ran for 10 years from 1994, earning Aniston four successive Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe award.

But since then, her career has consisted mainly of poor roles in indifferent films. Occasionally she has shown she can offer more than Rachels perkiness, as in her performance as a bored supermarket worker who bucks her staid life in The Good Girl, but for the most part she has not demonstrated talents to equal her fame.

After her marriage break-up, she made four pictures virtually back-to-back: the unsuccessful thriller Derailed with Clive Owen; Rumour Has It, which was another disappointment; Friends With Money in which, through no fault of her own, her character was poorly written and did not ring true; and The Break-Up.

In an attempt to branch out from acting, she has formed her own production company and has six films in development. She has also tried her hand at directing a short film and is considering producing and directing a full-length feature.

However, it is Friends more than her movie roles that has brought her fame and the adoration of millions. Friends really helped people through some hard times, she says.

Ive experienced some of my most moving moments when people who have survived cancer have wept in my arms with gratitude or when one sweet girl told me that as her mother was dying they watched episodes of Friends to get through the hours.

"Its a very, very powerful thing to have been part of something that has been a marker in peoples lives.

Rumours of the Friends cast getting together for a reunion movie in the same way that the Sex and the City cast did have been buzzing around for a while, but she does not think it will happen.

If there is to be a reunion I would hope it would be sooner rather than later and I think it would be better if we did just one episode. Courtney Cox and I have discussed it and it would be fun to get together again, but I dont know if it will happen.

* 'Marley and Me is out on March 13
