Aniston Movie Jams Up Burrard
Vancouver location shoot for Traveling...
January 20th 2008 03:10pm | Posted by: Michael Stevens, HNR Senior Editor
Exterior location shooting for the Universal feature film Traveling, took over Burrard/West Georgia in Vancouver, January 20, re-creating a Seattle, Washington DC traffic jam with dozens of cars.
The film is written/directed by Brandon Camp, produced by J. Miles Dale, Mary Parent, Scott Steuber and Mike Thompson. Cinematographer is Eric Alan Edwards.
The romantic drama is about a widower (Aaron Eckhart) whose book about coping with loss turns him into a best-selling self-help guru. On a business trip to Seattle, he falls for a woman (Jennifer Aniston) who attends one of his seminars... |

Thanks Meg. Here is a recount from a Vancouver based blogger who's work is near the set of Traveling. He's really suprised by how close he could get to the set.
Quote: Jennifer Aniston in Vancouver
Im pretty much the least star-struck person I know. I met the Barenaked Ladies a long time ago, ran into David Duchovny at UBC during the X-Files, and last year ended up sitting beside Aaron Eckhart at the Vancouver Airport bar for a while.
So when I heard that Jennifer Aniston was filming a block from where I work, I didnt really think anything of it. On my way home tonight as I was passing the Hyatt on Burrard Street I decided to stop for a sec and see if I could watch anything being filmed or check out the lighting and stuff. Right when I was about to keep moving I heard a voice nearby which sounded distinctively like Rachel from Friends.
Sure enough, standing literally right beside me was Jennifer Aniston, who was basically just trying to keep herself warm between scenes. What sort of surprised me is the complete lack of security and stuff I guess I sort of assumed there would be body guards and people of that nature, but nobody seemed to care that I was like two feet from Jennifer basically watching everything.
She walked past me and did a scene with Aaron Eckhart right in front of me, and then came back to where she was standing. I didnt really have any excuse to say anything, and didnt want to seem dumb, so I just stood there looking dumb instead. I hung out about ten minutes and realized I was bored watching Aaron and Jennifer act out a scene I couldnt really hear, so I left.
She was definitely really pretty, although far more petite than I thought she was based on seeing her on TV. In person she looks about 5′3″ and 100 lbs really tiny. Anyways, it was sort of cool to see it all unfold, partly because I used to like Friends, and of course because shes totally cute.

Martin Sheen
Trio 'Traveling' with Universal
By Borys Kit
Jan 22, 2008
Dan Fogler, Judy Greer and Martin Sheen are packing their bags for "Traveling," Universal's Stuber/Parent comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart.
Joe Anderson ("Across the Universe") and John Carroll Lynch ("K-Ville") also have joined the cast. "Traveling" is being directed by Brandon Camp and produced by Scott Stuber and Mary Parent as well as Mike Thompson.
The script, written by Camp and Thompson, follows a widowed self-help author (Eckhart) headlining a grief seminar in Seattle who rediscovers love and happiness after meeting a hotel florist (Aniston).
Fogler is the guru's overzealous manager, while Greer will play the florist's employee and friend. Anderson is the florist's musician boyfriend and Lynch is a reluctant seminar attendee.
Sheen will play the author's father, who has a strained relationship with his son.
J. Miles Dale and Rick Solomon are executive producing.
Fogler, repped by WMA, was last seen in "Good Luck Chuck" and headlined "Balls of Fury."
CAA-repped Greer can be seen in "27 Dresses." Sheen is repped by ICM. |

Joe Anderson looks quite boyish. I like the cast so far. Is Judy Greer a friend or past co-star of David Schwimmer? See picture here. |

Judy Greer was in Kissing A Fool with David in 1998. In fact, David gave Judy her first on-screen kiss.
That picture of the two of them is from the LA Premier of King Lear in July of 2006. There's no mistaking David's very conservative shirt and jacket. lol |
