LOS ANGELES - Courteney Cox and David Arquette have a challenge for their famous friends: help raise $1 million in two weeks for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare skin condition that primarily affects children.
Joining Cox and Arquette in the awareness- and money-raising effort are Jennifer Aniston, Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, James Marsden and Eva Longoria Parker. All will lend their famous faces and financial support to the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, where Cox, Arquette and Aniston serve on the honorary advisory board. (Brad Pitt, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are also members.)
"EB is very personal to me so I'm happy to be a part of this $1 million challenge," Cox said in a statement to The Associated Press. "Now is such an important time to put the spotlight on EB and ensure that research can continue at a fast pace."
Epidermolysis Bullosa is a debilitating genetic disorder that causes the skin to blister and break at the slightest touch. Victims are often covered in burn-like sores that never heal and most don't live beyond age 30.

On the episode airing April 20 contestants will be challenged to create "big gives" with no money and very little time.
Aniston who just turned 39 will announce "big news" on the show, according to a press release, but her role remains shrouded in secrecy.
"What can I possibly say that wont get my ass kicked?" judge Jamie Oliver told Usmagazine.com before the season started. "I not allowed to say anything but believe me, I'd love to!"
Producer Ellen Rakieten tells Us that Aniston immediately agreed to appear on the show.
"She was like, 'Whatever you guys need,'" Rakieten says.
"Jennifer is the nicest, kindest, sweetest person," Rakieten adds of the actress, who just signed on to help pal Courteney Cox raise $1 million for Epidermolysis Bullosa.
"She's the best friend you'd always want."
Aniston isnt the only A-lister participating on the show.
Jada Pinkett-Smith, Gayle King and Natalie Cole will make appearances on the April 6 episode. John Travolta will lend a hand on the April 13 show.
Past Big Give celebs have included Drew Barrymore, Andre Agassi, Tony Hawk and racing champ Danica

I figured she would be on the finale, since she taped in Chicago. Wonder what the announcement is? Her own show in Oprah's new network? lol |

| Yeah, there are some products that drop her name in advertisements when she doesn't even use the product! This kind of thing happens all the time. |

I actually have been looking forward to this book release after reading London is the Best city in America (which is a very quick good
read) Amazon has this recap of the Divorce Party
Quote: Book Description
A novel about loyalty, loss, and the endurance of love
On their 35th anniversary, Gwyn Huntington and her husband Thomas have invited friends and family to their Montauk home. Instead of celebrating their decades-long love, they are toasting their divorce. This also marks the weekend that their son brings home his fiance, Maggie Mackenzie, for the first time. Maggie thought she was joining a perfect family, but she is about to reckon with some uncomfortable truths about the man she wants to marry.
A multi-generational story about what it means to share a life with someone, The Divorce Party brings us two immensely appealing women: Gwyn who is stumbling upon the end of her marriage, and Maggie, her future-daughter-in-law, who is trying to navigate the beginning of hers. With emotional candor and surprising humor, these two women find themselves trying to answer the same questions: Can you ever really know someone? When should you fight for the person you love most, and when should you begin to let him go? |
