Last post for today. I feel like I invaded this forum.
New pics of John:
http://www.splashnewsonline.com/2008/05/john-mayer-does-his-best-to-ig.html
ETA: I had to post this
John Mayer's song My stupid mouth lyrics:
My stupid mouth
Has got me in trouble
I said too much again
To a date over dinner yesterday
And I could see
She was offended
She said "well anyway..."
Just dying for a subject change
Oh, another social casualty
Score one more for me
How could I forget?
Mama said "think before speaking"
No filter in my head
Oh, what's a boy to do
I guess he better find one soon
We bit our lips
She looked out the window
Rolling tiny balls of napkin paper
I played a quick game of chess with the salt and pepper shaker
And I could see clearly, An indelible line was drawn
Between what was good, what JUST slipped out and what went wrong
Oh, the way she feels about me has changed
Thanks for playing, try again.
How could I forget?
Mama said "think before speaking"
No filter in my head
Oh, what's a boy to do
I guess he better find one
I'm never speaking up again
It only hurts me
I'd rather be a mystery
Than she desert me
Oh I'm never speaking up again
Starting now... Starting now
One more thing
Why is it my fault?
So maybe I try too hard
But it's all because of this desire
I just wanna be liked
I just wanna be funny
Looks like the jokes on me
So call me captain backfire
Oh, another social casualty
Score one more for me
How could I forget?
Mama said "think before speaking"
No filter in my head
Oh, what's a boy to do
I guess he better find one
I'm never speaking up again
it only hurts me
I'd rather be a mystery
than she desert me
oh i'm never speaking up again(x3)
Starting now, starting now...
I find them quite interesting. |

You're just not seeing the big picture here, Freckles. Are you really going to let that girl suffocate 'cause you can't bring yourself to give me one little kiss? Hell, it's only first base. Lucky for you I ain't greedy. |

| ^ "If I can't get the girl why I just tell her I'm John Mayer?"; "I didn't ask what his name was, just get him for me" Too damn funny. |

Since I live in Europe I know nothing about John Mayer, but the more I read/hear about him, the more I do NOT like him. I mean I'm sorry, but how can you say things like this in an interview:
"Everyone thinks Brad Pitt has it great because he married Angelina Jolie. I think he has it terrible, because when Angelina Jolie is giving you a blow job, what do you tip your head back and think of to help you finish? You have nothing left -- just Jesus on a polar bear in the middle of the snow, saying, 'You greedy mother****er, I've got nothing for you.'"~ John Mayer in a 2006 interview with Rolling Stone.
Sure it's meant to be funny, but I dunno. I've always thought of Jen being with someone a little more...mature than that?
It just saddens me that I can't warm up to the guy, because I desperately want to. |

If only would have he known what was going to happen 2 years later, if only.
I think he was young and as a young celeb you know you always have to say something interesting in magazines so people talk about you.
I suggest to people who don't like him to try listening some of his songs.
My favourite are:
"The heart of life"
"Your body is a wonderland" |

I know "Your body is a wonderland" and I happen to love the song, but that doesn't have anything to do with how he comes across.
I'll read more interviews. |

Irina is right, most of his song lyrics are beatiful - Gravity is another example. I think he has probbaly grown up quite a bit over the last two years - here's hopin anyways! |

| Does anyone have a good source for interviews with him? Or did you simply google him, jendavidfan? |
