John Mayer Talks Music, Not Love
John Mayer was all about his music Tuesday night.
Three days after talking to reporters about his recent split from Jennifer Aniston, the singer focused on his songs at his concert in Charlotte, N.C.
Between performing fan favorites like "Waiting on the World to Change," Mayer, 30, dedicated a song to the audience, thanking them for allowing him to express himself artistically. "That's the most freeing thing as an artist," he told the crowd.
During a long rendition of a spoken-word number, Mayer turned pensive. Encouraging the crowd to consider that "life is long," he noted, "If you look back on it, it seems short, but look forward and it's long."
Of Mayer's split from Aniston, a source close to Mayer says, "It's sad things didn't work out. John thinks the world of Jen."

I am I the only one who finds its strange that she is in Ny the day he left to go to NC? And that we see pics of her leaving the restaurant he was at few days before?

The life you got left is excrusiatingly long. The life behind you, it's done. So yeah, life is short, but only when you turn around and look at it. But if you keep looking forward, you got a lot of yearsto think about. If you don't think life is long, if you life every day like life is short, you know what you become? A #$^%' ***hole. You gotta live your life like someday soon you're gonna hit some miserable Tuesday night that's just gonna seem to go on for days and days and days. Waiting for either some phone call to come that doesn't come or some phone call to stop that won't stop. Because as it's laid out infront of you seems to go on forever. But look back to when you were 4 and it seems like last Sunday. So just keep looking forward and keep your good heart on you and keep doing the best you can do and love who you love the best you can love. |

Well thank you Irina for that. I could read that any number of ways.
I could say maybe he was waiting for a phone call to come to him later that night and he was stressing about it?
I don't know maybe it's just a bunch of usual banter. |
