Don't know much about Zap2It. Are they pretty much in the know?

I did learn that the show with Will Arnett will be the season's opening show. As you will recall, Arnett is nominated for an Emmy for last season's guest appearance. No news out yet on when Jennifer's show will air.

Exclusive: Jennifer Aniston's '30 Rock'ing Jack Donaghy's World
By Korbi Ghosh

Oh, 30 Rock, how I love thee, let me count the ways... Not only is the love of my TV life, Mr. Will Arnett, popping into the building this season to reprise his role as the hot-for-Kenneth Devon Banks, but now you're bringing another old "friend" of ours back to TV. As we learned late last week, Jennifer Aniston will guest star on the Emmy-winning series, though no information on her character has been released. Until now. I've done some digging, people, and I'm bringing you the dirt.

My well-informed sources say Aniston plays Liz and Jenna's old roommate from Chicago, who pays them a visit in the Big Apple. She's a free spirit who loves to party and isn't opposed to sleeping around. In fact, a certain slick, Republican 30 Rocker will catch her eye. That's right. Move over Condoleezza Rice. Step aside Congresswoman C.C. Cunningham. There's a new woman in Jack Donaghy's bed and she looks a lot like the chick who used to bang Brad Pitt (and by "bang," I mean she was married to him for more than four years).

Word is, their "relationship" won't be the healthiest, as Donaghy gets addicted to Aniston's character, and she becomes a total psycho... much to poor Liz Lemon's disapproving chagrin.

Now, is this the stuff that Guest Starring Emmy Nods are made of, my friends? Are you happy that Aniston's playing a character instead of cameo'ing as herself?

Zap 2 It

IF this is true I'll be so frickin happy! OMG! She can totally pull that off and its completely different from Rachel

Thanks Kathy. Terrific find.

NEW YORK, New York --
Jennifer Aniston is heading back to primetime, with a guest appearance on NBCs 30 Rock, the network announced on Tuesday, confirming an earlier report by AccessHollywood.com.

Aniston will appear in one episode as a free-spirited, Fatal Attraction-like stalker named Claire Harper, who is the Liz Lemons (Tina Fey) former Chicago roommate, NBC revealed.

When Claire shows up in New York, she instantly attaches herself to Lizs boss, Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin).

Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call mad skills. Were very excited that shes joining us, Fey said.

And judging from the first sneak peek photo of Anistons cameo, released by Bauer-Griffin Online, it appears a fountain comes into play a la her famous Friends opening sequence.

Anistons last notable TV appearance came opposite former Friends co-star Courteney Cox in the F/X series Dirt.

Her recent film credits include The Break-Up and Friends With Money, both released in 2006.

With her 30 Rock guest spot, Aniston joins a long list of notable cameos to grace the hit sitcom, including Will Arnett, Steve Buscemi, Edie Falco, Carrie Fisher, Jerry Seinfeld, Al Gore and Whoopi Goldberg.

The new season of 30 Rock premieres October 30 on NBC.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EMMY AWARD WINNER JENNIFER ANISTON TO GUEST-STAR ON NBC'S EMMY-WINNING "30 ROCK"

NEW YORK September 2, 2008 Emmy Award winner Jennifer Aniston, ("The Break-Up," NBC's "Friends") will guest-star in one episode of NBC's critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning comedy "30 Rock" as the free-spirited, "Fatal Attraction"-like stalker Claire Harper, Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) former roommate from Chicago who randomly shows up in New York and attaches herself to Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin). The announcement was made by Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment.

"What a thrill to have Jennifer back on NBC on a Thursday night
. She is the perfect comedic talent to work with the Emmy-winning 30 Rock' cast," said Weinberg. "This promises to be a memorable, hilarious night of comedy."

"Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call mad skills.' We're very excited that she's joining us," said Tina Fey, creator, executive producer and star of "30 Rock."

After many television series guest appearances, Aniston soared to fame on NBC's mega-hit comedy "Friends," where she earned an Emmy as Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role in a Comedy Series for her performance as Rachel Green. Her television success paved the way for a feature-film career, which has included such credits as "Bruce Almighty," "Along Came Polly," "The Break-Up," "The Good Girl," "The Object of My Affection," "Friends with Money" and "Rumor Has It."

Honored with a record 17 Emmy nominations in 2008, "30 Rock" premieres on October 30 (Thursday, 9:30-10 p.m. ET).

Throughout the first and current seasons, "30 Rock" has welcomed an impressive array of guest stars, including Elaine Stritch, who garnered a 2007 Emmy award and a 2008 Emmy nomination for her performance, as well as 2008 Emmy nominees Will Arnett, Steve Buscemi, Tim Conway, Edie Falco, Carrie Fisher and Rip Torn. Other guest stars have included Jerry Seinfeld, former Vice President Al Gore, David Schwimmer, Andy Richter, Dean Winters, Gladys Knight, Meredith Vieira, Paul Reubens, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, John McEnroe, Maury Povich, Ghostface Killah, LL Cool J, Sean Hayes, Nathan Lane, Molly Shannon, Chris Parnell, Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis.

Hailed by Entertainment Weekly as not only "the best comedy on TV this year" but "simply the best TV," the Emmy award-winning comedy "30 Rock" is told through the comedic voice of Golden Globe winner Tina Fey ("Liz Lemon") and features Golden Globe winner Alec Baldwin ("Jack Donaghy") as a top network executive and Tracy Morgan ("Tracy Jordan") as the unpredictable star of Lemon's hit variety show, "TGS with Tracy Jordan." Lemon constantly has her hands full, juggling corporate interference from Donaghy and off-the-handle star antics from Jordan, all while attempting to salvage her own personal life.

Also rounding out the cast are Jane Krakowski ("Jenna Maroney") as the co-star of "TGS"; Scott Adsit ("Pete Hornberger") as the variety show's producer; Jack McBrayer ("Kenneth the Page") as the over-eager and effortlessly endearing NBC page; Judah Friedlander ("Frank") as the sardonic slacker on the writing staff; Katrina Bowden ("Cerie") as Lemon's young, flighty assistant; and Keith Powell ("Toofer") as the sophisticated yet sarcastic, Harvard-alum writer.

"30 Rock" has been honored on a myriad of critics' year-end Best Of 2006 and 2007 lists. The show has received a 2007 Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, the Producers Guild Awards' Danny Thomas Producer of the Year Award in Comedy Episodic Television, a Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and a Television Critics Association for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy. Also recognized by the AFI Awards as one of 10 Most Outstanding TV Programs of the Year, "30 Rock" was honored with nominations by the People's Choice Awards for Favorite New Comedy Series. Both Fey and Baldwin received the Golden Globe, SAG and TCA Awards for their portrayals of Lemon and Donaghy respectively.

"30 Rock" is from Broadway Video & Little Stranger, Inc. in association with Universal Media Studios. The executive producers are Lorne Michaels ("Saturday Night Live"), Fey, Marci Klein ("Saturday Night Live"), David Miner ("Human Giant") and Robert Carlock ("Friends").

Just In: Jennifer Aniston Stalks 30 Rock!

ET has the 411 on just what Jennifer Aniston will be doing when she joins the cast of "30 Rock" for one episode this fall. The Emmy Award-winning actress will play free-spirited, 'Fatal Attraction'-like stalker Claire Harper. Claire is a former roommate of Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) from Chicago who turns up in New York and begins to stalk Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin).
Last week, ET reported that the former "Friends" star would return to NBC for a guest appearance on the Emmy Award-winning comedy.

"Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call 'mad skills.' We're very excited that she's joining us," says Tina in her several roles as creator, executive producer and star of "30 Rock."

The announcement that Jennifer would return to NBC was made by Teri Weinberg, executive vice president, NBC Entertainment, who said: "What a thrill to have Jennifer back on NBC on a Thursday night. She is the perfect comedic talent to work with the Emmy-winning '30 Rock' cast. This promises to be a memorable, hilarious night of comedy."
Aniston's last primetime acting turn was on Courteney Cox's FX series "Dirt."

Completely agreed.

It's refreshing read great tidbits concerning Jen's guest appearance on 30 rock, and a little more of her up coming projects after the media storm of the leastest months.

And thanks again, Meg.

Details of Jennifer Aniston's cameo appearance on NBC's "30 Rock" for an upcoming episode have been outed. On top of that, several behind-the-scene photos of her cameo on the hit TV series have been leaked online.

Detailing on Aniston's upcoming guest spot on "30 Rock," NBC announced that her character will be a "free-spirited, 'Fatal Attraction' like stalker." She will star as Claire Harper, the former roommate of Tina Fey's character Liz Lemon, who shows up and begins to stalk Jack Donaghy, Alec Baldwin's character.

"What a thrill to have Jennifer back on NBC on a Thursday night," Teri Weinberg, the Executive Vice President of NBC Entertainment, commented. "She is the perfect comedic talent to work with the Emmy-winning '30 Rock' cast. This promises to be a memorable, hilarious night of comedy."

Fey, who besides starring in also serves as creator and executive producer of the series, expressed her praise for Aniston, claiming her as "not only incredibly lovely to have around" but also "has what the young people would call 'mad skills'" adding that "We're very excited that she's joining us."

The sneak peek photos of Aniston's cameo, released by Bauer-Griffin Online, shows her and the series' other cast having fun with water of what appeared to be from a fountain. She's seen in the pics laughing, wearing sexy dress, a pair of high heels, and let her long hair loose.

A publicist for Aniston confirmed last week that she's going to guest star on "30 Rock", saying that the actress has been filming her part. No words which episode her starring role will be featured. The new season of "30 Rock", which is the third, premieres October 30 on NBC.

Can all this happen in one show?

From everything I've read it's one episode for Jennifer. I would think the writing would be such to allow another episode, perhaps next season for Jen's character to return. This is the case with Will Arnett whose guest appearance last season earned him an Emmy nomination and who is returning as the same character for this season's opener. We can only hope for a return of Jennifer to the show. I would think it boils down to buzz and ratings.
