Sizzling-hot Jennifer Aniston is getting down to business.

Wearing nothing but a red, white and blue necktie, the fiery "Friends" star poses for the January GQ (inset) -lying between two undressed men.

Aniston told the mag that her relationship with ex Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is an "insane Bermuda Triangle."

"The funny thing is, people don't realize we all go away to the Hamptons on weekends," she joked.

"That'd be hysterical: I've got Zahara on my hip, and Knox," she said, referring to two of Jolie and Pitt's many children.

Aniston, who clearly doesn't look her age, also doesn't feel 39.

"I feel more comfortable today than I ever did in my 20s or early 30s," she said.

"I'm healthier. I'm more at peace in my mind and with my body." The curvy comedienne bears her claws at Jolie, who has said that she fell in love with Pitt on the set of the 2005 spy flick "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

"Considering the source, nothing surprises me," Jen sniped.

The leggy leading lady is slightly warmer than ice toward Pitt. She and her former husband, with whom she split four years ago, "don't not talk," she said.

"When there's something to congratulate or celebrate, there's an exchange," she said. "But there's no charge on it."

Aniston, who is dating a younger man, rocker John Mayer, 31, is looking to shed her romantic comedy roots with her latest project - a film called "Pumas."

It's a "Wedding Crashers" takeoff about a pair of aspiring cougars - older women who date younger men.

Another tidbit from the GQ interview as reported by Star Online, and I must say, I totally agree with Jennifer.

But if she does get pregnant, don't expect her to sell their baby pics a la Brangelina's windfall for shots of twins Knox and Vivienne.

Jennifer Aniston and the really hot GQ cover

I heard about the new GQ cover featuring Jennifer Aniston on the radio driving into work this morning. (Sometimes, it pays to be a half-hour late!)

I then kept checking the wires to see when the AP would move a copy of the photo. Whammo! Hello, Jennifer Aniston!

Supposedly, there's an article in there about her, but really, who cares? Like you'll even get beyond that cover photo within the first week of purchasing the magazine. I'm just saying.

I particularly enjoyed the teaser headline on the cover:

"IS IT
JUST US
OR IS
JENNIFER ANISTON
GETTING HOTTER?

Nope. She's always been insanely hot. She's just flaunting it more now. And I'm not sure anyone is really upset over it.

Jennifer Aniston Gets Sassy About John Mayer

Let the rumors about Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer be put to rest by Aniston herself.

"I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question," the actress, 39, tells January's GQ (on stands Dec. 23) in a sassy interview in which she also pokes fun at her recent swipe at Angelina Jolie.

"The funny thing is, people don't realize we all go away to The Hamptons on the weekends," jokes Aniston. "That'd be hysterical: I've got Zahara on my hip, and Knox..."

As for her feelings about Mayer, 31, she says, "Honestly, did not know much about him before I met him. I'd heard ... you know, uh 'Your Body' that song. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is. And it's just great to sit and be witness t that. It's kind of like, Whoa!"

Aniston's currently working on a film called Pumas, which she calls "sort of a female Wedding Crashers" about two "aspiring cougars."

"It is so a comment on the sexual double standard, and what's been ironic is how hard it's been to get this movie made," she says. "Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. They'd want to change it; they're saying, 'Oh, you can't do that, people just can't imagine you..."

It's part of what she sees as a disturbing problem in Hollywood.

"Look, I think all women on some level just want to rage against the machine," she says. "There are too many movies out there that don't empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man. And you know, that's not my favorite theme."

I watched Courteney on Ellen today and they talked about the tree trimming party that took place at Jennifers. It was funny because at first they just said we were at a friends and then Courteney almost whispered to Ellen saying we can say who it is and then they laughed and Ellen said it was Jen's party and that no one decorated the tree except for Coco. So they said the only ornaments on the tree are at the very bottom because thats the only area Coco could reach.

It was cute and then they played Mad Libs and Courteney used Jennifers name in it to fill in a space for a female celebrity. The story in the end was very funny.

Jennifer Aniston: I "Wasn't Trying to Make Any Statement" With Naked GQ Pic
Friday December 12, 2008

At Thursday's Los Angeles premiere of Marley & Me, Jennifer Aniston spoke out for the first time about her naked GQ cover.

"I wasn't trying to make any statement," said the 39-year-old actress, who wears only a tie on the cover.

After a reporter told her she looked hot in the January issue, Aniston replied, "So do you - hottie!"

Her boyfriend John Mayer, who did not walk the carpet with Aniston, said he also thought she looked scorching.

"I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the
hell out of here," he said.

When a reporter tried to get him to hold a copy, Mayer joked, "No, don't make me hold it - you're pimping me out! Because when I touch it, angels die."

Mayer continued, "If I have a problem with that cover, I should just pack up the Toyota and head out of town. I'm just gonna get ready to put my knuckles in the air for it."

Asked what movies he'll be watching over the holidays, Mayer replied, "Marley and Me, of course!"

In January's GQ, Aniston said she and Mayer "care deeply for each other, and we're just trying to figure it out.

She joked, "I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question."

On the business front, it sounds like she'd consider going back to televisionat least for Tina Fey.

"That to me, is an ideal job: great cast, New York City," she says about the possibility of her 30 Rock guest spot becoming more permanent. "We'll see what I say if they come back and ask meI wouldn't say yes, I wouldn't say no."

BTW - we're getting really off-topic on this thread. Should we should continue the non-Jen and John discussion of GQ on Tidbits.

Jennifer Aniston Uncovers Message Behind Nearly Nude Cover
By Nina Burleigh

Jennifer Aniston

Looking stunning and dressed for the occasion, provocative cover girl Jennifer Aniston worked the red carpet with costar Owen Wilson at Thursday's Los Angeles premiere of their comedy Marley and Me, at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood.

Summing up the film's universal appeal Marley is a tale about a dog Aniston, 39, called it "a true story, about a family and their life."

With nearly everyone also interested in the tale behind Aniston's new eye-opening GQ cover, the star was asked what sort of message she was trying to send by wearing nothing more than a necktie for the magazine.

She replied, with a laugh: "I wasn't trying to make any kind of statement!"

Aniston's boyfriend, John Mayer, did have something to say, on the other hand. Arriving about 10 minutes before Aniston and Wilson, the musician told reporters that he was there to "support my girl."

Meanwhile, Marley costars Eric Dane and Alan Arkin also spoke up in support of Aniston's GQ pose.

"I'm going to renew my subscription," said Dane. ""She always looks fabulous, she will look fabulous at 50."

Concurred Arkin: "I have to admit it, she looks great. My my initial reaction was, God, I wish I had a tie like that."

Jennifer Aniston flaunts it
Article from: The Sunday Telegraph

By Pippa Smith

December 14, 2008 12:00am

IT takes a brave woman to pose nude at any age, especially at that most sensitive milestone, 40. But that's what Jennifer Aniston has done for GQ magazine, accessorised by only a tie, buff boys and a cheeky smile.

The startling, sexy shots show Aniston is determined not to disappear into ``that insane Bermuda triangle'' of herself, ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, whom she recently _ and finally _ described as ``uncool''.

Aniston, however, is ensuring she is cool. With John Mayer, 31, on her arm again and two new movies _ Marley & Me (based on the best-selling memoir) and He's Just Not That Into You (inspired by the dating bible) _ Aniston is on a high. And despite her birthday looming on February 11, there's no hint of a midlife crisis.

``I can't think of any better way to celebrate my 40th than being naked by a pool,'' Aniston declares.

``I feel better than I've ever felt in my life. Physically, I feel the best that I've ever felt. I feel happier than I've ever felt. My career is going where I want it to go. I get to work with great people. I feel really fortunate.''

Such confidence has taken time. Aniston endured Pitt's humiliating romance, then he and Jolie's happy ``rainbow'' family of six children: Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 3, Shiloh, 2 and, last July, twins Knox and Vivienne.

Aniston has no interest in matching her rival, child for child. Like many women, Aniston focused on her career and independence first, rather than children and, as she approaches 40, she's philosophical about having both.

``Sure, I'm maternal. (But) I was never somebody who was, like, `I'm going to grow up and have kids.' It was just `let me survive and get my own apartment','' she shrugs, then goes tight-lipped on the subject.

She's far happier talking about her friends, who _ like the TV show that made her famous _ have been there for Aniston, as her marriage imploded. She's close to Courteney Cox, her co-star in the phenomenally successful series.

``I can't personally live without friendship,'' she says. ``I don't understand how people isolate and don't commune with friends. I personally depend on them, and vice versa. It's just a part of life. And what takes you through life's hard times? Friends, family and most importantly, yourself.''

And her dog, Norman. She posed with her pup to promote Marley & Me, a film about a couple (Aniston and Owen Wilson) who learn life lessons from man's best friend. Like Marley, her dog was once difficult: Aniston recalls how she had to send it for training after it began nipping children (no, not Jolie's).

She now protects the dog's privacy, too, saying it gets as much attention as she does when they go out.

``I'm shutting it down now,'' she laughs. ``No more Vogue. The heartbreaking part of the movie was when Marley is sent away. My dog is 13 and, since this movie, I've had post-traumatic stress disorder of what it's going to be like when my dog goes. There came a point at the end where I didn't want to even read the lines. I'd just thank God that I had a sitcom career because I could just look at them and learn the lines really fast.''

In Marley & Me, Aniston's character lives through love, loss, marriage and family, which surely she must relate to _ and it seems the same with her choice of He's Just Not That Into You. She dated Vince Vaughn and now is off-again, on-again with Mayer.

Ultimately, at 40, Aniston knows that dreams are shattered; plans take different turns and sometimes guys just aren't that into you, even if they are your husband.

``It's that sort of expectation you have when you're young and you have the world in front of you,'' she reflects. ``You masterplan, then one day wake up and you are in this situation. I don't think we have any idea what our future holds for us.

``I think we have expectations and pictures in our mind. It's like John Lennon said: `Life is what happens while you're making plans.' I think you gain more opportunity when you're able to look at everything. I'm coming to peace with the idea that this is my life. It's not what I thought it was going to look like, but it's a beautiful life.''

Marley & Me is out on New Year's Day. He's Just Not That Into You is out on February 12.

I loved the article. I don't know about anyone else but I sure as hell get irritated when people feel like she has to prove she is maternal and all that bull. I could sense the irritation in the way she even answered that question in the article and in Vogue. Besides that I really enjoyed the article. The last statement was awesome.

Great interview, thanks Kamia. It's obvious that Jennifer is in a very good place in life.

About that pool: why do I think that John is going to want to be by that poolside on her birthday? eek1
