Jennifer Aniston & Courteney Cox Spend Christmas Eve Together
Friday December 26, 2008
For the sixth year in a row, Jennifer Aniston joined Courteney Cox, David Arquette and their 4-year-old daughter Coco for Christmas dinner at Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, CA.
Happiest to see Aniston was Coco, who greeted her godmother with a big kiss as soon as she sat down.
While waiting for their main course, Aniston and Cox went around to each person at the candelit table, leaning down to catch up.
Meanwhile, Aniston didn't use the holiday as an excuse to fall off her diet. The Marley & Me star, who sat between Cox and her other BFF, hairstylist Chris McMillan skipped the bread basket and and kept it healthy, opting for white wine, asparagus, and lemon sole.
"She was going to order the petit filet but changed her mind," a source told Usmagazine.com.
Later in evening, Cox got up to carry a barefoot Coco to the bathroom.
"The Grinch cut off her circulation and she had to take her shoes off," Cox joked to people on the line - explaining that her daughter had buckled her shoes too tight and that's why she took them off.
Also sharing Christmas eve dinner at Mastro's Steakhouse? Pregnant How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and her husband Alexis Denisof.
As for Cox and Aniston's friendship, Cox said recently, "We never judge each other, we support each other, but we're honest with each other too. I feel lucky to have her. Jen and I grew up together emotionally. We've been through huge life changes together."

Celebrity Shap-up
Movie Star Workouts
Jennifer Aniston
ROLE Jennifer Grogan in Marley & Me
THE WORKOUT Marley & Me marks the first big screen appearance for Jennifer Aniston since The Break Up in 2006 and she has kept up her toned, lean figure for the comeback. Aniston and her long-time yoga instructor Mandy Ingber even continued their yoga sessions on location in Miami while Aniston was filming. With call times at 5:30 a.m., Aniston and Ingber were up at 4 a.m. to get an hour of yoga in before her long days of shooting. Ingber's goal is to give Aniston the energy and confidence she needs to be in front of cameras; the killer body is a bonus. "She already has a great body and is in amazing shape," says Ingber. "Ultimately I just want her to feel strong and healthy from the inside out." Aniston regularly does 30 minutes of cardio, her yoga session and ends with five minutes of abs and floor stretches for a full-body workout. "Yoga is not the replacement for all of your exercise," says Ingber. "It's best when incorporated into the workout you're already doing."
Aniston's Workout
TRY IT To get a taste of Aniston's yoga ritual, try Ingber's three pose routine. Hold each pose for 30 seconds and repeat 2-3 times, making sure to breathe evenly and to maintain proper posture.
1. Chair pose (thighs and glutes)
With your legs shoulder width apart, bend your knees with your weight on your heels and lower your body until your thighs are parallel with the floor.
2. Boat pose (abdominals)
Sit up straight with your feet in front of you, legs bent. Lift your feet off the floor and extend your arms in front of you and hold.
3. Plank (arms and core)
In a push up position (hands directly below shoulders, feet hip width apart), tighten your stomach muscles and flatten your back to make a straight line from your heels to the top of your head and hold.
EQUIPMENT
Yoga mat, $85; yogamatic.com
Aniston's favorite yoga tunes: Prana by Shaman's Dream (their favorite track is Storm of Prayers), $14; amazon.com

| Yeah it was mentioned in Mandy's article in Self, that they woke up early before Jen's call time to do yoga. And I love yoga but all I could think was, if someone woke me up that early do work out......I would not be held responsible for my actions! |

This was only while Marley & Me was being filmed, not permanently. |
