omg, so am I. She seriously was about to leave but somehow my friend got her attention and I will always remember that smile she gave when she saw it. |

I went to the taping for Conan O'Brien here in NYC. I was out traveling and commuting in the snow and cold to get tickets ... and got them! Unfortunately they were very strict about cameras and phones but I managed to get a photo on cell phone of the studio, it's not very good though.
Anyway Jen was wearing a brown/tan outfit. With long black boots. In the beginning of the show Conan said how everytime he has a beautiful woman on the show suddenly there are more crew guys hanging around the set. And then he showed a guy acting as the coffee table, another guy making chili or burritos or something, other guys acting as air vents etc.
It was cool to see them chat off camera. She seems really down to earth. I'm off to warm up my frozen toes now :) |

I was taking full advantage of Jen being in town so today I went into the city once again so I can see her on Conan. They filmed at 5:30 and I was lucky enough to get to go inside and watch the taping after getting a Stand-by ticket. I just wanted to share some things with you guys that does not air on the show. She was only on for one segment but it was great and she looked gorgeous as usual.
While they showed a clip from Marley and Me Jennifer only looked at the clip for a few seconds and then she started to play with her hair while she watched. She then looked at the cameras that were on the floor and then Conan and her started talking. Have abolsutely no idea what they were saying but she was making some funky hand gestures.
When her segment was over and they went to commercial her and Conan just kept talking for a bit. They then stood up as she was getting ready to leave. She kissed him on the cheek as they said good-bye. When she walked off the stage she turned to the audience, smiling widley as she waved goodbye and then she was gone.
I know some people may not want to know what she wore or what was discussed prior to seeing it on tv so I will make the rest a spoiler
She was wearing a tan, short sleeved dress cut just above the knee with greyish colored stockings. I can really explain the dress to well but it was not form fitted. It was kind of loose. She had on brownish/black knee high boots to finish off the outfit perfectly.
The first thing they talked about was the movie. Conan told her he saw it this morning with his wife and it was amazing. He told a story that made Jennifer laugh and then Conan asked her how they got the dogs to lick their faces. She told him they used baby food and Owen told her it was liver flavored. She said she thought people were lying to him telling him it was baby food so he would put it on his face because she didnt think they made that flavor but Conan informed her they probably did. It was funny and she started to laugh because she really couldnt believe it. She then said a remark saying she couldnt even tell you how much baby food has been rubbed all over her body. I think she realized after the fact that the thing she just said sounded dirty and everyone started to laugh inculding her and she never really finished the rest of her sentence lol Conan mentioned what great chemistry her and Owen had and she said she really lucked out because they really like eachother.
They showed the Marley and Me clip of when Marley was left in the garage alone when John picks up Jenny from the airport. They also talked about her tree trimmimg party and she said she has been doing it for 15 years. She also said she fixed it when everyone left because it was very bottom heavy because of all the little kids (she said there were about 6 of them) placed everything where they can reach and she was laughing saying she filled in all the empty spaces.
They talked about her GQ photoshoot and Conan asked her how exactly she got to lay on those men. He made a joke about a crane laying her down on top of them and she went right along with it. But she then explained how the men just layed down and the photographer told her to lay on them like a couch. Conan asked if it was uncomfortable but she said everything was very professional and if anything was touched accidently a sorry was said right away lol.
Although the interview wasnt as long as Letterman it was still great. I actually think she is getting sick because when she first spoke I can hear the difference in her voice. I think she is getting a cold or a sore throat. I cant even imagine how hard it is for her to be doing all these interviews in just 3 days and its probably starting to take a toll on her. |
