Jennifer to present at Golden Globes

Jennifer, who is a Golden Globe winner herself, will present at "The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards" on Sunday, January 17. The show is hosted by Ricky Gervais and will be broadcasted live on NBC (5 to 8 pm PT, 8 to 11 pm ET). Maybe she'll be able to give her Friend Courteney Cox her first Golden Globe? We are crossing our fingers for Courteney either way.

No plot (not even a one line summary!) has yet surfaced for the upcoming Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston comedy "Pretend Wife" (The script, written by Allan Loeb, of "Wall Street 2 : Money Never Sleeps" fame, and Tim Dowling, who penned "Role Models", and once known as "Holiday in Hawaii," is being kept under wraps) but a casting call issued today sheds a little more light on Aniston�s character... seems she's a mama!

[ MAGGIE ] (10-12 years old) - precocious daughter of the female lead, cute and skinny.

[ MICHAEL ] (6 years old) - precocious son of the female lead, a sweet boy who is a little odd.

The Happy Madison Production, directed by Sandler staple Dennis Dugan, lenses March to May 2010.

24 Hour Play and "You are Here"

Jen with Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher at last night's 24 Hour Play in New York.

Jen's work on this night was "Ramen Noodle" written by Stephen Belber ( Management ) and featured Jen, Brook Shields, David Cross and Anthony Mackie.

Jen's long time friend Leigh Kilton-Smith directed.

In other news ( and it's been a while ) Variety is saying that Mad Men creator-exec producer Matthew Weiner will be starting work on "You are Here" with Jen, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis.

Management DVD release

The Management DVD with Jen, Steve Zahn, and Woody Harrelson will be released tomorrow Sept. 29th.

Management is a romantic comedy that chronicles a chance meeting between Mike Cranshaw (Steve Zahn) and Sue Claussen (Jennifer Aniston), but she�s already tied to Jango (Woody Harrelson). The film has a great cast and is a fun, quirky take on the usual romantic comedy.

Friends again?

The rumors about a Friends movie are circulating through the net again and we have to report that it isn�t true, just rumors.
Based on what has been said before there is always the possibility of a special say, for Thanksgiving, but none of the cast or the producers are up for a movie.

It is always interesting though to see what the studios have to say so keep watching.

Goree Girls to start production in January.

Goree Girls will go into production in January with Jennifer and Kristin Hahn ( Echo Films ) and Overnight Productions, Rick Schwartz and Aaron Kaufman as producers. Michael Sucsy will make his feature directorial debut with Jennifer in the lead role as Reable Childs.

Jen has lead role in 'Pumas'

Jennifer Aniston will topline CBS Films' romantic comedy "Pumas."
Wayne McClammy's attached to direct from Melissa Stack's script. Story centers on two thirtysomething women who make a habit of romancing younger men and take a French skiing vacation that challenges their romantic expectations.


Thesp will also produce along with Jon Gordon, Scott Z. Burns and Kristin Hahn. Chris Moore and Barry Littman are exec producing.

When Sue checks into the roadside motel owned by Mike's parents in Arizona, what starts with a bottle of wine "compliments of MANAGEMENT" soon evolves into a multi-layered, cross-country journey of two people looking for a sense of purpose.

Mike, an aimless dreamer, bets it all on a trip to Sue's workplace in Maryland � only to find that she has no place for him in her carefully ordered life.

Buttoned down and obsessed with making a difference in the world, Sue goes back to her yogurt mogul ex-boyfriend Jango (Woody Harrelson), who promises her a chance to head his charity operations.

But, having found something worth fighting for, Mike pits his hopes against Sue's practicality, and the two embark on a twisted, bumpy, freeing journey to discover that their place in the world just might be together.

MANAGEMENT is first and foremost a comedy, but, derives its humor from the thrill and awkwardness of human relationships.

"The characters in the film have gaping human needs that are driving them. When you have that, you can go as broad as you want but only if it�s grounded in this human need to connect," explains writer/director Stephen Belber, the acclaimed playwright and screenwriter (THE LARAMIE PROJECT) who makes his feature film debut with MANAGEMENT.

"These are people who are cut off from others, or from their own emotional lives. They so desperately want to live life and be a part of someone else�s life."

Jen still filming in NYC

Jen has her plate full these days. Production Week has the Sony Pictures film "Bounty Hunter" starting production in June.

Jen will star with Gerard Butler, and Andy Tennant in the director�s chair.

This won�t leave much down time as the "Baster" is expected to shoot through the end of May.

And there is still the Management promotion to do before its May opening.

As chairman of the celebrity outreach for Feeding America, David Arquette held a star studded reception at Eric Kranzler�s home.

Guest�s included Jennifer Aniston, Gwen Stefani, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tobey Maguire.

Gone are the days when Americans could comfortably assume that the only national nutrition problem was obesity. That's what Arquette and his co-host of the event, Motion Picture Assn. of America head Dan Glickman, had in mind when they pulled together Hollywood activists with a record of social commitment.
