EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW (PEOPLE) By Julie Jordan Jennifer Aniston has never much cared for tabloids where, as she puts it, "people are ruthless and cut-throat and will stop at nothing." But she had a blast visiting that world for TV. In an exclusive interview, Aniston, 38, talked to PEOPLE about her guest role as a magazine editor on Courteney Cox's Dirt, the show's much fussed-over kissing scene (Aniston's character is gay) and those real-life tab reports of plastic surgery: You guest-star on the season finale of Dirt as a lesbian. What was it like working with Courteney again? We had a ball. It was completely fun. I forgot just how much fun we have together in the work world. So what about that kiss between you and Courteney? It was touted as a passionate lip-lock. It's a good-bye kiss. I don't honestly think people want to see Rachel and Monica have at it. Did you two laugh when it became such a big deal? Of course! I think I won a bet. I told Courteney, "How many days will it take to come out? 'Lesbian kiss! Lip-lock!' " It was a record: about a week. Currently the tabs are having a field day over rumors about plastic surgery your nose, your boobs. What's going on? (Laughs) It's funny. I had [a deviated septum] fixed best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years. As far as all the other [rumors], as boring as it sounds, it's still mine. All of it. Still mine. They're still gonna run before and after pictures ... Short of letting everybody have a feel, I don't know what else to do. I really am pretty happy with what God gave me. What gives you the most joy right now? Beginning a new day. When you see what else is going on on the planet, it's pretty hard not to go, "Wow, thank you." [SOURCE] |

AFFILIATES ADDED David Arquette will be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow (Monday). This is what it says on the show's official site: "David Arquette tells Ellen all about Jennifer Aniston's appearance on his wife Courteney Cox's new show, Dirt." Thanks for the heads-up, Kamia! I added these two sites to the Affiliates page: |

DIRT NEWS, NOSE JOB? & ROOM 10 NEWS Dirt producer Matthew Carnahan confirmed: "Jennifer Aniston will play a lesbian in her guest appearance in the season finale of Dirt and will share a kiss with Courteney Cox. The episode will air on March 27." The day after filming the episode last week Jennifer went under the knife to have a nose job. Jennifer's representative, Stephen Huvane, cleared up some questions: "Jennifer did have a septum corrected that was incorrectly done over 12 years ago. The rest is just nonsense that tabloids like to create." According to { URL Removed }, Room 10 won't be shown on the site until the end of March. That could be good news or bad news since it was considered for a film festival. |

JEN & COURTENEY TO PLAY LOVERS? Exclusive: Aniston-Cox Smooch Exposed! by Michael Ausiello Call them Friends with benefits. You already know that when Jennifer Aniston guests on the March 27 season finale of Courteney Cox's FX drama Dirt, she'll be playing her bosom buddy's archenemy, a rival tabloid editor. But what I've learned — muahaha, exclusively! — is that Aniston's character is a lesbian. What's more, she won't just mouth off to Cox's tightly wound counterpart, she's going to share a liplock with her. An FX rep declined to comment, but Joey Tribbiani had this to say: "Yeah, baby!" SOURCE Nothing confirmed (yet) but the character, Tina Harrod, is getting more and more interesting. |

JENNIFER TO APPEAR ON FX's DIRT [...] On the other hand, Aniston has expressed interest in making a guest appearance on Dirt, the new FX show in which Arquette plays the editor-in-chief at a tabloid magazine in Los Angeles. "Jennifer loves the show. She's already like, 'What am I going to do?" says Arquette, who recently vacationed with her pal in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. "We were like, 'Okay, if you came on the show, would you want to play yourself, or do we write a fantastic character for you, or you know maybe you take Dirt down?' " No definite plans for the collaboration have been made, but "we'll think of something good if it happens," promises Arquette. [SOURCE] |

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS - TWO WINS FOR BREAK-UP Jennifer won one of the two awards she was nominated for at the People's Choice Awards yesterday. Check the forum to see the absolutely gorgeous-looking Jennifer. A lot of pictures were posted. Vince Vaughn also won, so congratulations to them both! I can't get over how happy, healthy and amazingly beautiful she looked. And how funny she was! I personally have a new favorite outfit of Jennifer's. Congratulations to Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley, as well, who won Favorite On-Screen Match-Up. It's also great news that one of the most dedicated Jennifer fans was able to see her at the show yesterday (you can read about her fan encounter here) and that another very dedicated fan's question was answered { URL Removed } The question was this one: "What do you do with all the People Choice Awards you have won over the years?" Quotes update after a while, too. I added quotations from Stacey Sher (1x), Courteney Cox Arquette (3x), Vince Vaughn (1x), Angelina Jolie (1x), Melissa Etheridge (1x), and Steven Cojocaru (1x). Check them out in the Quotes section. I also transcripted Jennifer's speech from last night. Acceptance speech transcript from Peoples Choice Awards.. |
