JENNIFER SETTLES TOPLESS PHOTO LAWSUIT �Aniston settles topless photo lawsuit Aniston's topless photos are going to get a lot less exposure. "The Break-Up" actress and the photographer who snapped her semi-nude picture have "mutually agreed on their differences," reports "Extra." In a lawsuit Aniston filed against Peter Brandt in December last year, she claims he took topless photos of her on her property "covertly from a great distance ... using powerful telephoto lenses" and that the pictures could only be taken "by means of trespass and/or through the use of an enhancement device," thus violating her right to privacy. Brandt, however, denies that he didn't trespass in any way, such as climb a tree, in order to get the photos. "Even though they were legally obtained, Peter pulled the photos from publication," reads a statement from the photographer's representative. At the time the pictures were first released, Aniston claimed she suffered damage to her reputation -- personally and professionally -- as well as "shame, mortification, hurt feelings, emotional distress, anger, embarrassment, humiliation, feeling of being violated and injury to her privacy and peace of mind." JENNIFER FOR NIKE? As I've mentioned in a past update, Jennifer might become Nike's spokesperson in a few of advertisements. Several sites are reporting that the deal is sealed already but I haven't heard of a confirmation yet. I'll make sure to inform you when I hear more. �Jennifer Aniston and Eminem Sign With Nike Jennifer Aniston is on the verge of signing a deal with Nike, according to reports. The amount of money being offered to the former 'Friends' star by the sportswear giant is rumoured to be the most the company has ever paid for a celebrity endorsement. Jennifer is apparently keen to make sure the campaign "brings focus to cancer research" with donations given to her favourite cancer charities. Meanwhile, Eminem is to design a range of trainers for Nike. He said in statement: "We're always looking for new ways to try to raise money and awareness for the foundation, so when Nike approached us we jumped at the chance. Who wouldn't want to design their own line of Nikes? And to do it for charity makes it that much better." [SOURCE] |

JOHN ANISTON SUFFERS HEART ATTACK? Before I post the article, I have to say that this is totally disrespectful from Life & Style. Using Jennifer's father's health to publish a new story? I didn't think tabloids could scoop any lower. I wasn't sure if I should post it since I'm not too fond of any kind of rumors but I guess there's nothing wrong with sharing it now, since it can be read pretty much everywhere. �Jennifer Aniston's actor father John has reportedly suffered a heart attack. American publication Life & Style magazine reports in its new issue that the actress heard the news about her father's health crisis last Friday and spent much of the weekend at his bedside. Us Soap star John, 73, is recovering at West Hills Hospital & Medical Center in California. A family insider tells the publication, "It was a scary few hours before Jen got definitive word from doctors that her dad would be fine." Life & Style reports Jennifer's boyfriend Vince Vaughn proved to be a great support throughout the weekend, dropping a number of commitments to be with her. The family source says, "He cancelled several appointments and stayed by her side. I don't think Jen is ever going to forget what a stand-up guy Vince was and how he really stuck by her just when she needed him the most." BACK FROM VACATION Jennifer and Vince Vaughn won Choice Movie Chemistry at the Teen Choice Awards and as far as I know Jennifer also won Choice Movie Actress for The Break-Up; congrats to the both of them. They aired taped thank you's last night and according to some fans at the forum it was "funny and cute". There is no confirmation for the US DVD version of The Break-Up but according to an Australian site, the DVD will also include a commentary by Jennifer and Vince. Which makes me little girl extremely happy because I adore commentaries. I'm guessing if the Australian DVD has it, the US will, too. So start saving for both, the Friends with Money and The Break-Up DVD because the 25th and 26th September are the official release dates for the DVDs. As for the constant engagment rumors, they're not true, according to People's phone interview with Jennifer: �"I'm not engaged and I don't have a ring and I haven't been proposed to," Aniston said in a telephone conversation she initiated to debunk the engagement rumors. "Normally we don't even acknowledge these things because they're endless, at this point, the thing that got me was that I was getting phone calls from Greece! My Aunt Mary in Greece is getting accused of lying! { URL Removed } And Courteney also said at a fundraiser for the EBMRF (Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation), "They didn't get engaged that night and they are absolutely not engaged. Unless it happened in the last 20 minutes... No, it did not happen." And thanks to Rovostrov for this little tidbit; Ok! Weekly writes that Jennifer met with Universal Studios on August 9th, and has several films in development, including Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, The Senator's Wife and Wanted, but all are in the let's-see-the-script stage. ON VACATION - AGAIN I'm leaving for vacation this friday and I'll be back later this month. Probably no updates when I'm gone but eh, you'll survive. The rumor, that Jennifer and Vince are engaged, started by Us Weekly, is, according to Steven Huvane, Jennifer's rep, not true. If he's telling the truth or protecting his client, well, you'll find out in the future. If they are engaged indeed, congrats! |

INFO ON DVD SPECIALS + TRANSCRIPT According to this site, the extras on the The Break-Up DVD will include an alternate ending, over fifteen minutes of deleted and extended scenes, and some outtakes. That sounds great so far and I, personally, would love to read something about a commentary soon, as well. Just hinting at it. You can pre-order the DVD on August 15. I also added the transcript of Late Night with Conan O'Brien from May 2006. Big thanks to Summer! If anyone has another article or transcript typed up somewhere, feel free to send it to me. Vince Vaughn will also travel to Las Vegas on August 11 to perform the last of his Wild West Comedy Shows for this year, so maybe Jennifer will be with him. Just a heads-up. :) |
