Ross invites the gang to a black tie event at the museum, but can he get there on time? Monica recieves a phone message from Richard, but she doesn't know if it's old or new. So she leaves a mesage, and then thinks it was a bad idea, so when she tries to erase it, she makes a big mistake. Rachel cannot decide what to wear, and when Ross becomes insensitive, she decides not to go at all. Phoebe spills wine on her dress and can only find a huge Christmas bow to cover it. Joey and Chandler are having an arguement, so Joey decides to wear all of Chandler's clothes-at the same time. during all this, Ross nearly has a nervous breakdown.

Monica buys a new bed from janice's ex-husband, and thanks to Phoebe, instead of getting the bed she ordered, she gets a race car bed. Joey goes to the store to try and get the right bed for Monica and finds Janice kissing her ex.

Monica and Rachel babysit Ben, and Ben bumps his head-thanks to Monica. So the two try to hide the bump from Ross. Ugly naked guy isn't moving! so the gang make a giant poking device made of chopsticks to poke him with to see if he's alive. Once he moves, they can't stop poking him. Joey worries about telling Chandler Janice was with her ex, but he decides to tell him. When Chandler confronts Janice, she admits she still loves her ex, and they break up.
