That would be so great if she infact did stop smoking. I am not a smoker myself so I really dont know how hard it is to stop but I can only imagine it is very difficult.

Brad Pitt & Vince Vaughn Who: Jennifer Aniston Makes New Friends in Oregon--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By Debra Beste
Nov 1, 2007

Many people still look at Jennifer Aniston as America's sweetheart. And a new story notes that the still adorable 38-year old American beauty is as down to earth as ever as she works on a film project in the American northwest. "I'm a 38 year old Greek girl from California and I know how to have fun," an insider reported her as saying while on a bar hopping blitz in Portland, Oregon, where shes shooting the romantic comedy, Management.

Brad Pitt & Vince Vaughn Who: Jennifer Aniston Makes New Friends in Oregon (Wenn)

Even though Brad Pitt and the woman he is currently sleeping with, Angelina Jolie, like to bring Jennifer up when they need positive PR, the National Enquirer reports that As she cavorted with her pals, the former Friends star left little doubt that shes moved on with her life, after her bitter divorce from Brad Pitt, 43, and her short-lived romance with Vince Vaughn, 37.

While many (including me) are cheering for a Vaughniston reunion right now that looks pretty far off. A source tells the magazine, "She's back to being the happy, fun-loving girl she was in the Friends hey day". And Jens upbeat attitude is obvious to everyone around her. The Enquirer recently eye witnessed the "Break Up" star in downtown Portland, having a blast, partying with several pals, including Woody Harrelson and her Management co-star, Steve Zahn.

On Saturday, October 20, she was at the popular Portland area night spot, Fratelli, sipping Grey Goose martinis and drinking red wine. Jennifer was incredibly gracious to everyone around her and in a great mood, says one observer.

Jennifer was incredibly gracious to everyone around her and in a great mood, says one observer. The report from the mag claims that down to earth Jen socialized with fans on the patio and even invited one of the restaurants waitresses to join her and her pals for a cocktail. Later on Jen and company moved the festivities to another trendy Portland night spot, the Driftwood Room, where they partied into the early morning hours.

By that time, Jen and her merry gang were doing shots and knocking back beers and she was flirting good naturedly with Steve Zahns handsome personal assistant, continued the insider. Cool for Jennifer, as much as everyone loves to use her name for publicity it is good to hear a story where she is kicking back and having fun.

It's been years and the tabloids still want to write about how she has moved on. They need to move on and that reeks of over-dramatization. Knocking back shots, beers, and telling everyone she is a fun loving girl from California?!

OK verified the date, time, people involved and the drinking and having fun. So, I guess she did go out the weekend of the 20th and have a good time. Good for her. She's young, healthy, single, working very hard. She deserves to have some fun.

I'm not saying she didn't go out I said it seemed over dramatized.

The article does seem to slightly paint the picture of a desparate woman out to prove how great and happy she is.

I don't think in reality that is the case, but I am glad she is out having a good time and enjoying life.

I sure didn't get that impression that she was desperate - just having a good time with her co workers.

Mega-flack 'Shocked' By 'W''s Art Issue Stunt
Remember when I told you that W magazine was running the risk of pissing off some very powerful Hollywood gatekeepers by appropriating stars' images, without permission, for the cover of its art issue?

Well, consider them pissed off. Or at least consider Jennifer Aniston's publicist, Stephen Huvane, pissed off, which is bad enough. He tells Us Weekly, "We were not happy about it.... We were shocked and disappointed that W ran that cover."
(What was I doing reading Us Weekly? Uh, mailroom mix-up. Someone must have accidentally switched it with Harper's.)

And Huvane is not a person whose favor any fashion magazine can afford to lose. In addition to Aniston, his client list includes Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kirsten Dunst, all three of whom have appeared on W's cover, the latter two in 2007.

It's a truly strange decision when you consider that for W, which averages about 50,000 copies per issue on the newsstand, a truly blockbuster cover means selling an extra 30,000 or so copies. When Vanity Fair pulled the same stunt with Brad Pitt, at least it could hope to move the needle by a couple hundred thousand units.
