Bob named 'most iconic' hairstyle
The bob - as popularised by Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes - has been named the "most iconic haircut" of all time.

The hairstyle, originally associated with 60s stars such as Mary Quant and Twiggy, beat Jennifer Aniston's sleek long Friends cut in the survey. Her hairdo sparked the biggest hair craze of the Nineties as women flocked to salons to ask for "a Rachel".

The Amy Winehouse-style Sixties beehive was third, followed by the 1970s Farrah Fawcett feathered number, as recently imitated by Madonna.

Mia Farrow's ultra-short Rosemary's Baby crop was fifth in the online poll, commissioned by Hair magazine, followed by the heavy fringe worn to the side that Lady Diana Spencer sported when she announced her engagement to the Prince of Wales.

Joanna Lumley's "Purdey bob" from her period in The New Avengers was seventh.

The survey of 1,600 people also found that Jennifer has the hair that women envy the most, followed by Catherine Zeta Jones, Cat Deeley, Penelope Cruz, Angelina Jolie, Natalie Imbruglia, Victoria Beckham, Nicole Kidman, Sharon Stone and Sienna Miller.

Hair magazine editor Louise White said: "The bob is a timeless classic that has been a chic style statement for more than six decades.

"With celebrities like Victoria Beckham giving it their seal of approval time and time again, it's a look that will always evolve to be at the forefront of fashion."

Speaking of weird star behavior at eateries, petite JENNIFER ANISTON chowed enough food to feed three people � or KIRSTIE ALLEY � at Morton�s steakhouse, polishing off a 24-ounce porterhouse, then devouring leftovers two galpals were about to wrap � half a chicken and an Australian lobster tail � saying: �Wait�I�m not through yet� as she guzzled beaucoup bubbly! Then she sat back and groaned: �God, I�m full!� Giggled one gal: �It�s no wonder�you ate everything on the table!� When Jen finally left, she was (burp!) rubbing her taut little tummy!
