Jen Anistons film delay a good thing

Hes Just Not That Into was meant to be Jennifer Anistons first big summer release since 2006s The Break-Up, but recently the release date was pushed from Aug. 1 to Oct. 24.

At the time, many wondered if the film, which completed shooting in November 2007, wasnt testing well with audiences, and that was the reason for the change in plan. " The film is great, said Bradley Cooper, who stars in the film. And to tell you the truth, its better for the film that its opening in October. It's a good thing.

Cooper also said that a summer release would have been a strange fit for the film: "Its not a massive, blockbuster-type movie. That was never, ever the intent. This is a smaller movie, more artsy than what you expect in the summer months. I think the fall is perfect for the release."

Glad somebody from the cast have finally spoken out about this. I was still waiting on a official confirmation that the date is now October 24th. I agree that the movie was not a summer movie but the gossip about it being due to S&TC and "her" big summer movie is ridiculous. She spent 2 weeks on set?!

Box Office Mojo is now showing the October date. Glad he spoke up. It's still being called Jen's movie. That's rich. When it makes a lot of money, I hope people remember it's Jen's movie.

Yeah, then they will say it was because of the rest of the cast, not Jen.

and I'm sure if for some strange reason it does not do well (which I'm sure is not going to happen) they will say it was because of Jen

no, I'm sure they will blame her too because these critics and whoever else that dislikes her always try to protray that she flops at the box officve and if she does ahve a hit it is because of her costar. But I have a feeling this movie is going to do great. The book was a hit and it has such am amazing cast, how can it not do well
