Just estimate one of the past films of the director of Friends With Money, that with her movie she was able to profit from the gross of the movie which is more or less 500,000 dollars.
I was thinking of the budget of Jennifer Aniston's movie, let us say less than 1 million capital in the making, post production is 1 million, then promotion around the world is 1 million. Her lowest gross in the movie so far is around more or less 10 million. If she produce a movie with the kind of theme and budget that the director of Friends With Money do, then when she stars and produce a movie I am sure she will still profit millions of dollars.
I was also suprised that in videos of you tube when anything sexy and variant role Jennifer plays, for example, her upskirt or not conservative videos, and the lesbian kiss with Courteney cause so much curiosity that you will see the lesbian kiss reached how much views, more than 1 million viewers in just a year.
Another thing if Oprah dies I hope she will consider Jennifer Aniston as one of her heirs to the former's billion dollar fortune so that her best friend Jennifer will not work anymore, no need to run this Echo Films production company. angel2
Just kidding. I was just wondering, when you have money, why you need or have to work to gain more money?
For sure Jennifer Aniston is not a material girl because look at her natal chart, 1 earth sign! that is quite negligible in her character to be materialistic.
Indeed she was such a lucky girl be in love and married to the most beautiful man alive, then work with famous people in the movie industry. A daughter of an actor in the TV industry. Then born with head turning hairstyle, and near perfect legs.
Now so close and was able to hug the most sought after guy of the world in the Internet, who was 7 years her junior and that is OB, yes I mean OB's fans will envy Jennifer, then she get close to political leaders too.

^ Some people have two jobs because they love what they do, others because they need. Thank God Jennifer has the finances to found a production company with her friend, Kristin. Jen previously said she'd love to produce and direct films, she's doing what she loves, money would be the result of her hard work. Woman has a gift for acting and producing, why not share with anothers? Let it be.

I would love to see her single handedly direct a feature length film, I'm sure she'd be good at it. Maybe even triple threat? Act in, produce and direct a film?

More, quadruple treat if she writes, directs, act and produce, she could spend less than 500,000 in producing, post production 1 million, promotion around the world 1 million, then if the movie gross just like her other films an average of 10 million, she earn more profits of more or less 8 million, which was what she was actually paid in every movie. I think she is earning 1 million per week, so expect to see Jennifer Aniston working in a movie for 8 weeks. angel2

An excerpt from Variety on how the deal between Jane Fallon and Jennifer came about for Getting Rid of Matthew.

Studios turn to books, magazines
Majors in hot pursuit of new scripts

The surging demand has given a new kind of currency to authors. Jane Fallon not only sold her book "Getting Rid of Matthew" to Universal for Jennifer Aniston to star in an adaptation, she got the job of writing the script.

While Fallon is a vet producer of U.K. television -- she's married to "Office" co-creator Ricky Gervais -- the U assignment marks her first studio writing gig. Her novel revolves around a hard-charging publicist whose no-strings-attached affair with a married guy goes awry when he leaves his wife and children for her. The protag hatches a scheme to get him out of her hair by salvaging his marriage.

"It was unbelievable how quickly it happened," Fallon said. "Jennifer's massive likability made her perfect to play a character, who, because she's having an affair with a married man, is every woman's nightmare, until she redeems herself," Fallon said. "I pitched the idea to Jennifer and she said yes. I pitched it the studio, and by the time I flew home, we had a deal."

I will always agree with that, so let's get to work, dear Jen!

Roxy, it's mentioned in that initial story about Echo and their new projects from Variety.

Summer Reading: Beach Books
As essential as sunblock, a towel and a cold drink

May 25, 2008

The buzz: Jumping on the fad for "divorce parties" (like a wedding, only the couple receives gifts for their separate lives), this novel has already been optioned by Jennifer Aniston's production company.

The plot: A socially prominent Montauk couple amiably mark their 35th wedding anniversary with a party to toast their divorce, but deeper feelings rise to the surface when their son introduces his fiancee to the family.

The twist: You might think Dave would play this scenario for laughs, but she delivers plenty of poignant twinges.

Dave on Divorce
Laura Dave knows divorce. Okay, maybe she doesn't know divorce in the biblical sense, but she sure knows how to write about it.

Dave's first novel, London Is the Best City in America, was a refreshing and well-received entry into the chick-lit genre. Telling the story of two siblings who help each other out of their own individual, self-spun relationship webs, there was nothing trite, nothing contrived and nothing even slightly Shopaholic about London, which made it an instant hit with the Cosmo crowd and the literati crowd alike. When rumors started milling that Reese Witherspoon had optioned the movie rights to London, no one was surprised and everyone began wondering when Dave's next book would come out.

A short two years later, Laura Dave has given us another finely-crafted novel filled with intense yet believable characters and achingly familiar situations that most people have had to face within their own families. The Divorce Party is exactly what the title suggests: a long-married couple invites their children and friends to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary at their home in Montauk, and ends up breaking the news to all assembled that they are, in fact, getting divorced.

The children and parents must then explore what the divorce will mean to this family and their love for each other, especially to their son and his newly-minted fiancee whose dreams of happily-ever-after are suddenly put into perspective. Elle calls it a "darkly humorous" novel that explores "the dimensions of love" and Bookreporter praises it as "a riveting story about love that causes us to reflect on our own relationships." No longer does talk about movie rights involve rumors; with The Divorce Party, the talk is all true. Jennifer Aniston and her production company, Echo Films, have purchased the rights through Universal Studios.

Laura Dave will be reading from The Divorce Party and signing copies of her books tomorrow night at the Central Branch of the Houston Public Library beginning at 7:00 p.m. "An Evening With Laura Dave" is part of the Summer Reading Program that is being sponsored by the Houston Public Library system, which will run through August 1st.

Head out to the newly-renovated and reopened Central Branch tomorrow evening and visit with Laura Dave while you still can. At this rate, she won't be on the public library circuit for too much longer.

Thank you. This all sounds really interesting, and judging by the review of the book and the plot, the film has the potential to be a great success. It's really great Jen's getting involved in all different aspects of film, certainly for us anyways.

I would love to see her do more diecting though. The short film she did was amazing.
