Any Alicia fans? I went to see her this past Sunday. I had great seats and enjoyed the whole show. I have to say seeing her live made me a bigger fan than I already was. She is x100 more beautiful in person than she already is on tv. Even though we were one of her last stops on her tour, she has officially kicked off the summer concert season here being the first big act to come through so far this summer. I love how she mixed it up from playing the piano to dancing and singing. Didn't realize just how many hit songs she has had until they were all played that night. She was the talk of the area this weekend, and the hot ticket. Literally everyone that I ran across wanted to go see her. I will definitely see her again on her next tour. I surprisingly enjoyed Jordan Sparks' (American Idol winner) set. She is also really pretty upclose. Neyo performed, but I was never really a fan of his music, but I am glad after the whole R.Kelly situation he was able to pick up another tour. Here are some pictures.
There is no one really touring this summer that I want to see. I already missed Jayz and Kanye because they toured this spring. I am not sure if I am seeing John this July or not yet. Where he is playing takes longer than going to Baltimore for me. Anyone else going to some Summer concerts? |

I'm happy for you Kamia. It looks like you had the best time.
I don't go to concerts so often, because my tastes vary so much, that in general I like a few songs from every artist, but I do have some favourites. In july one of my dreams will come true. I love Julio Iglesias very much, his music is amazing. And he comes here in july and of course I bought tickets.
In august I'm going for an Europe mini tour and I'll take a look to see if any interesting concert will take place in any of the countries I'll visit.
PS: I don't get a thing, why american musicians (John included) have some prices for their american concerts and when they come to Europe the tickets are way more expensive? |

| Tickets are expensive here too. I can only imagine what the prices are over there. Maybe it's a good thing there are not alot of artists I want to see this summer. I spent it on Alicia because I figured that is probably the only concert I will be going to this summer. I think some are charging riduculous amounts for not so great seats. I didn't go see Beyonce last year because of that. I love her music, but prices were crazy and I refused to pay alot for a horrible seat. |

| I get it. The thing is, for example John's concerts in Europe, the cheapest ticket is something like 171 $ , but in US you can find tickets at 30-40 $. But I agree some artists have these huge prices, which not so many fans can afford to pay. |

$30 U.S. dollars? Not here because for me to sit all the way back on the grass behind the seats is $60. |

I love Alicia Keys, so glad for you that you got to go. She plays one date in Hong Kong this July and Im on holiday!!! I cant belive it!! My friends are going though so Ill post some pics for you when they have been. No One was one of my top albums of 2007 and Wreckless Love one of the best songs for me.
