This is from X17, so I don't know how to take it..anyways I'd love to see Courtney on the screen again!!!

Courteney Cox has reportedly got a new comedy series in the works about a super-hot, newly single 40-something mom called Cougar Town. (We're guessing the censors wouldn't let them call it "MILF Town")
The former 'Friends' and 'Dirt' star will also executive produce the series for ABC.
You can expect to Courteney's new series to claw its way on the air next year. |

Courteney Cox to Prey on Younger Men for ABC
Courteney Cox will soon be on the prowl for younger men.
ABC has greenlighted a pilot starring the one-time Friends actress, who will play a sexy, newly-single, 40-something mom with a 17-year-old son. The show will be called Cougar Town.
"Forty-year-old women on TV are so beautiful and perfect and wrinkle-free," said Cougar Town creator Bill Lawrence, who was a writer on Friends and later created Scrubs. "People don't do the reality of it, and there is a real comedy area about a woman who is talking about Botox, about having sex with the lights on and how her body is changing."
Courteney, 44, recently opened up about her own Botox use, telling Marie Claire: "I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can't life their eyebrows, that's weird. I hated it."
She also has experience as the older woman � since 1999 she's been married to David Arquette who is seven years her junior. Court's BFF, Jennifer Aniston, 39, also seems to have been bitten by the the cougar bug � she's been dating John Mayer, 31, off and on since the spring.
Production for Cougar Town is slated to begin in early January for a possible midseason launch.
Court's last series, Dirt, ran for two seasons on FX.

Actor heads to ABC in new comedy series

"Friends" star Courteney Cox has joined forces with "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence to concoct a new half-hour comedy for ABC.
"Cougar Town," which reps Cox�s return to the sitcom world, has been picked up to pilot by the Alphabet net. ABC Studios is behind the single-camera half-hour.
Lawrence and Cox will exec produce "Cougar Town," which stars Cox as a newly single 40-year-old mom. Lawrence is writing the pilot alongside "Scrubs" scribe Kevin Biegel.
Both Lawrence (through his Doozer banner) and Cox (through her Coquette shingle) are in the midst of development deals at ABC Studios.
"Cougar Town" would be Cox�s first series since FX�s "Dirt," which she starred in and exec produced. ABC Studios was also behind that show.
More recently, Cox shot a guest appearance on "Scrubs" � which served as a reunion of sorts for the star and scribe. Lawrence was a season one writer on "Friends" before moving on to co-create "Spin City."
Lawrence is finishing up post-production on the eighth season of "Scrubs," which moves to ABC this year.
"Cougar Town" comes as the idea of the "cougar" � a middle-aged woman who pursues younger men � continues to resonate through pop culture. TV Land, for example, has Mike Fleiss reality show "The Cougar" in the works.

Scrubs" returns with fresh episodes next January, and ET has new details about guest star Courteney Cox's shady character on the quirky medical comedy!
Courteney will play a beautiful but unethical doctor who could prove troublesome to J.D. (Zach Braff) and the rest of the gang at Sacred Heart Hospital. Also on the premiere episode, J.D. struggles to keep a new crop of bumbling interns in line, and Carla (Judy Reyes) helps Elliott (Sarah Chalke) keep her ego in check!
Catch Courteney on back-to-back episodes of "Scrubs"' eighth season, premiering Tuesday, January 6 on ABC. |

Scrubs gets a new network and a sexy new chief of medicine � Courteney Cox Arquette � and PEOPLE has the first-look photo.
The long-running NBC comedy is now on ABC, with the Friend-turned-MD appearing in the season-eight premiere on Jan. 6 as Dr. Maddox in the first of three episodes.
Also look for her onetime costar Matthew Perry to show up on Scrubs later in the season. � Mike Fleeman

she might be promoting Bedtime Stories
that comes out the same day as Marley and Me
is there going to be alittle friendly competition between Courteney and Jen :P. I find it quite funny that all these movies are all coming out on the smae day |
