| That was hilarious..lol! I think the thing that struck me the most about that scene was the contrast between their characters. She is all serious even while she is telling him to touch her butt..lol! and he just seems unsure and dorky throughout it. I lovee it! |

| I have to say that I wasn't very excited about this movie, specially because Steve Zahn doesn't tell me much, bout now that I've seen this clip I think it's gonna be very good. Jen is hilarius, as usual. And her hair doesn't look a wig at all, how can they do that?! |

I'm lovin' the wig and the whole style she has in this clip (Steve, too, actually). She looks really different (and talks different, too, which is great!). This is the best promotion in a long time. I would love to see a trailer, though.
Mike Cranshaw: You have a great butt. [pause] I noticed the moment you checked in and ... [trails off]
Sue Claussen: [after an uncomfortable pause; cool and calm] Thank you.
Mike: I hope that isn't too, you know, -
Sue: No. I mean, yeah. But... [shakes her head]
Mike: Thank you.
Sue: [frowns at him] Do you do this a lot, Mike?
Mike: [like a child] No.
Sue: Sometimes?
Mike: [unconvincingly] Very rarely?
Sue: Does it ever work?
Mike: [shaking his head] Never.
Sue: But... what would constitute having it work?
Mike: [speechless, with mouth open] I, er...
Sue: Us having sex?
Mike: [chuckles nervously] Nah, I don't...
Sue: You getting to touch my butt?
Mike: Help with... [thinks] yeah, I'd consider that, um... [all awkward, stumbles over the next words] for the constitution.
Sue: Hm. [looks him up and down and then speaks like she's doing business] Okay, [pause] you can touch my butt, but then you gotta go. [Mike stares as Sue bends over and waits for him to touch her butt; Mike only stares] Okay.
Mike: [almost whispering] Are you serious?
Sue: Yeah! Touch it and go, Mike. Just touch and go.
This is my favorite shot; it cracks me up. Love how she gets impatient with him.
I'm so curious about other random scenes in this movie. I love indies for those very scenes. Getting a tiny bit excited here. By the way, after seeing this scene, I'd love to see some outtakes from this one. |
