Tony Danza is due June 17 to play a shady fight promoter in The Nail: The Story of Joey Nardone, an indie film that starts shooting around town Tuesday. Sandwich baron Tony Luke Jr. plays a onetime fighter, newly out of prison, who teaches the ropes to a picked-on youth (played by 15-year-old Paul Orrantia). FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia wants a crowd to show from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday for a scene near City Hall. (Exact location is not firmed up, but you won't be able to miss it.) Rob McElhenney, Danny DeVito, Charlie Day and Kaitlin Olson will be there, as will Eagles Dan Klecko and Mike Patterson and WMMR's Preston and Steve, playing construction workers.
Marley & Me wrapped in Chester County, which means Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson have left. Wilson was spotted Thursday at Kildare's in West Chester over a turkey burger and a beer.
Happy Tears is wrapping Tuesday. Parker Posey and Billy Magnussen did their final shots Friday in Prospect Park. Demi Moore is long gone.
Oak Lane Day School in Blue Bell on Wednesday will be visited by a crew from Japanese TV outlet NHK, shooting a documentary on alum Noam Chomsky.
