Now we have proof Jen would give the clothes off her back to help someone out. That's very sweet.
I didn't know Woody was in with Jen's and Courteney's crowd though. He must be if he's hanging out at Courteney's house You learn something new every day. |

These are excerpts from a review of The Big Give. The guy obviously doesn't like Oprah, but I assume he has his facts straight.
Quote: Although no celebrities appear in the opening show, subsequent episodes are scheduled to feature Jennifer Aniston, John Travolta, Andre Agassi and Jada Pinkett Smith, among others.
Quote: Things start in Los Angeles, but subsequent episodes will include Denver, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, New York City and Chicago. To date, eight episodes have been scheduled. Since Jen is LA based this would mean she is featured in the second episode.
Further more:
Quote: At the end of each show, at least one contestant is sent packing, based on criteria that include leadership, creativity and presentation. A panel of three judges critiques the contestants: Naked chef Jamie Oliver, NFL superstar Tony Gonzalez and Malaak Compton-Rock, wife of comedian Chris Rock.
Quote: Nate Berkus, Oprah's favorite interior designer, serves as host. Oprah will make periodic appearances throughout the series, both as motivator and matriarch. None of the contestants realizes at the outset that the last giver standing will receive $1 million.

| I agree. Just when I think her heart can't possibly be bigger than it already is, she goes ahead and proves me wrong. No wonder every woman in the world wants to be her best friend. She's just incredible and I have endless respect and admiration for her. |

Oprah's feel-good reality show, and other programs of note
Submitted by SHNS on Thu, 02/28/2008 - 13:27. By TERRY MORROW, Scripps Howard News Service television
Oprah Winfrey is offering the feel-good reality show "Oprah's Big Give" (9 p.m. EST Sunday, ABC).
The eight one-hour episodes give 10 contestants the opportunity to change the lives of strangers. In a switch from all reality competitions, this show is about giving, not getting.
The series opens in Los Angeles, where Winfrey hands the contestants envelopes with a picture and the name of a stranger. Contestants must change the strangers' lives in five days.
At the end of each episode, the contestants face a panel of judges who will judge them on their leadership, accomplishments, creativity and presentation. The judges include chef Jamie Oliver, NFL star Tony Gonzalez and charity founder Malaak Compton-Rock.
Though the series bares her name, Winfrey will appear in only a few episodes.
Guest stars -- including John Travolta and Jennifer Aniston -- will wander in and out of the challenges. |

Yeah. I dont know how reliable the tabliods are but most of them and the gossip blogs said that she was in chicago to film the big give with oprah, this was right when we heard she was doing something with her... |

| I also feel we as a socitey sometimes are so focued on the "grand" gestures that people often tend to ignore the lil things we do for the people we care about and one of the examples of that is the lil excerpt from the interview posted on the last page! I found that adorable! I think Jen is one of those people who has done those lil things not only for the people that are her friends but for strangers too and I ain't talking about her giving her socks to some stranger..lol! Im just refering to the theme in there. |

The Big Give host Nate Berkus gave an interview to TV-Guide which was published today on their website. This is what he had to say about the involvement of the celebrity guests.
Quote: TV Guide: How were the guest celebrities Jennifer Aniston, John Travolta and the others chosen?
Berkus: First, what was great is that everyone we approached to be involved said, "Absolutely!" We worked with celebrities who were very supportive of giving, and they became incredibly dramatic additions to certain challenges.
