I thought it was funny then, and still funny now. If I remember right Ryan Seacrest made a big deal about this afterwards. The situation is a little different than 2 years ago I think. John was sorta thrusted into a whole other arena with his relationship with Jessica and I'm sure that caused alot of adjusting to be done from his publicist and management in reference to this clip.
John and Ryan used to be fairly friendly, but not now. The two Grammy show situations are different. That year, Jessica was his team's worst nightmare from a publicity standpoint, whereas her team would have had her doing pirouettes on the Red Carpet if they could.
That clip is pure comedy if you ignore John and watch the nervous suits behind him. John *did* mention that his management was watching him at the premier of Marley and Me. And that is all I meant about management. Jen is great publicity for John, he just has a really high maintenance management team.

It was a joke with extra, he was there with Jen's manager. John is his best rep and I doubt he cares about his taugh manangement team since he couldn't stop talking and gushing about Jen.

I'll drop it, either she'll show or she won't. This is John's publicist, the one who was hovering between him and Ryan. John is joking about management watching him, but it doesn't mean that they aren't. Isn't that what makes it funny in the first place?

Does anyone think Jen might go with John to the Music cares gala. She went with Brad a few years back like someone pointed out. Maybe she'll go with him to this instead of the Grammys or both (which is what I'm secretly hoping for.) I guess we'll have to wait and see.  |

I know Ellen was gonna pull something but not like this.
If this was taped the same day, does that mean the same audience? Does anyone know.............
I know I wished she had them together instead of separate but this is fine w/ me. John is revealing again.........looks like they want everyone to know they are for real. This definitely kills the tabloid mags. |

| Thanks Irina, great find. X17 video was very recent as I checked & nothing was there yet, not too far from when you got it. Still can't believe this.........Did you notice?..........ET online version is a bit different from someone else's quote earlier where Ellen showed Courtney & David pictures & then the borat pic of JOhn. But whatever, the teasers are really good. Can't wait till tomorrow & Monday seems too far. |

| That was hilarious..lol! Once John starts talking you never know as to where the convo will lead upto..lol! and Ellen doesn't miss any oppurtunities to ask what she wants. Jen's reaction was even more amusing. |
