I'm not sure if this was posted here before and if so I apologize but I was reading his Connecticut Post interview from August and this jumped out at me,

If we haven't seen them in a while, then we really don't know anything, which I don't see as a reason to assume the worst. And X17 has been known to be wrong in the past - they've put the wrong date on photos for their own story a few too many times for me to put much trust in what they have to say.
