I'm pretty sure, Holly girls, that he was at Jen's party since E said he was, but thanks for the quotes.
HOLLYSCOOP
Tom Hanks Wishes Jennifer Aniston Happy Birthday
February 11, 2009
by: Ani Esmailian
When you're as popular as Jennifer Aniston, an invitation to your birthday is only extended to a select few.
Aniston's 40th birthday bash this last Saturday may have been the hottest ticket in town, but even some of the biggest names in the industry didn't get a chance to attend.
Hollyscoop caught up with Tom Hanks at the Saks Fifth Avenue "Unforgettable Evening" Benefiting EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund where Gwyneth Paltrow and Courteney Cox were being honored to get his advice on turning 40.
Hanks said, Life begins at 40. I don't think Jennifer needs any advice from me. I think she is the most lovely woman on the planet. She always has been.
"Sometimes I think the media makes it out to be something else. But I think thats the story they are trying to sell to some magazines. But she is a beautiful person and she always has been. And I wish her a happy b-day, Hanks told Hollyscoop.com exclusively.
Tom has looked the same for the last 15 years, so whatever he's doing is clearly working! Now that Jenn knows how fond of her he is, maybe he'll score an invite to her next birthday.
That's awesome. Always been a fan of Tom Hanks. |

| I am so glad people are speaking up & saying she is a good person====I think that is the best thing to hear about a celebrity. Even Eric Dane, during the Marley premier, was quick to say that he'd say she was "sweet first before hot (re GQ question} & added she was definitely attractive but she really is a good person". This is one big reason I admire her so much and hope everyone out there who were influenced by the bad tabloid/mag articles realize the same thing. |

| ^I think people are free to believe whatever they want to. Jen said something a few years back that if everyone out there wished each other well then we would be living in a boring world..lol! so why even focus on changing someone else's point of view of her you know? Her fans love her and I think one should concentrate on that instead of the the ones who don't but thats just me. |

My kids love when I read them books, so we were very excited to check out the new book featuring Loukoumi, a loveable, cuddly lamb. The book, third in the Loukoumi series, is titled Loukoumis Good Deeds and teaches kids the importance of doing good deeds and also includes a bonus CD narrated by Jennifer Aniston and her father, Days of Our Lives star John Aniston.
Loukoumis Good Deeds, by author Nick Katsoris, features Loukoumi and her adorable friends Gus the Bear, Fistiki the Cat, Dean the Dog and Marika the Monkey. My kids loved hearing about Loukoumis adventures, and the message really seemed to resonate with them.

This is the Courteney Access Hollywood interview from tonight's show that I was talking about on Gossip. Here's the video. The whole thing is great. The Jennifer's birthday portion of the interview is a couple of minutes in. You can see the sculpture Courteney gave to Jennifer yesterday on her birthday.
Video is HERE |

Playing Matchmaker with Jennifer Aniston
Still searching high and low for a birthday present for Jennifer Aniston? The birthday girl (Jen just turned the big 4-0) is rumored to be sniffing around for a cosmetics contract. Time will tell who, if anyone, bites, but I think it wouldn't hurt to pair up with one of these guys:
Ralph Lauren. Mr. Lauren's long-rumored color cosmetics line is still just a fantasy. But imagine the buzz if Anistonso all-Americanwas the celeb face. Plus it would be the classic case of life imitating art, as Rachel worked for Ralph on Friends.
Calvin Klein Fragrances. Scarlett, Eva, so why not Jennifer? We know she loves the Francisco Costa's slinky sheaths, so how much of a stretch would it be to see the actress rolling around under Obsession-soaked sheets?
L'Oral. Aniston appeared in some L'Oral haircare ads years ago, but you may have missed themthey didn't air in the States. Chances are, the two still have each other's direct numbers.
Este Lauder. Aerin Lauder, the brand's creative director and granddaughter of Este, is known for her cool, understated beauty, chic, simple wardrobe, and laid-back elegance. She also loves yoga. Do you see a meeting of minds? I do.
Note to beauty head honchos: Expect her BFF Courtney, to weigh in on this decision. With two beauty contracts of her ownKinerase and Avonshe knows the ropes.
