After her donation of $500’000, Jennifer will host a Haiti benefit for AmeriCares, one of the organizations that Jennifer chose for her generous donation. As for when this benefit will take place, all we know right now is that it will be sometime at the end of this month. It will be a benefit screening of the Oscar-nominated movie The Last Station, starring Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer. On that note a congratulations to both actors for the Academy Award nomination. According to E!’s Marc Malkin, this is what it says on Jennifer’s invitations:
“AmeriCares delivered nearly $10 million in lifesaving medical aid for earthquake survivors in Haiti. They have a longstanding commitment to the people of Haiti and will continue to send relief in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.”
Ticket prices are somewhere between $100 and $50’000. This movie night also includes a cocktail party after the screening with the director of The Last Station, Michael Hoffman.
