On the website is also a video of the neighbourhood mentioned in this story.

Bucks County Home Picked For New Flick
Lesley Van Arsdall NEW HOPE, Pa. (CBS 3) ― A popular book about a local man and his dog heads for the big screen and film crews are scouring our area for the perfect setting.

One Bucks County woman hopes her house makes the cut.

"They wanted a hill like that so they could film a toboggan scene," home owner Dava Guerin said.

It's an exciting time for Dava Guerin. She hopes her home will be used in a major Hollywood production called "Marley and Me" starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.

Location scouts have been searching all over Bucks and Chester County for the perfect farmhouse to shoot scenes. That when one of the scouts came upon Dava's.

"We came home and there was a note in our mailbox from the scout which said we like your house and want to use it in a new movie called "Marley and Me," Guerin said.

The movie based on a book by Philly's own John Grogan, a former columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, is about his sweet but "spirited" dog named Marley.

"Marley destroyed a couch chewed through a mattress and drywall," filmmaker Stephen Stahl said.

Local film director Stephen Stahl, who shooting his own movie, says it's an exciting time in Bucks County.

"There are four movies being shot locally within the next six months and we have a film festival opening up work is wonderful out here," Stahl said.

Dava said she, her husband and two dogs would have to move out once shooting began, but she doesn't mind.

"Whatever shooting days you'd have to be out of there but it's a small price to pay to have a permanent record on film," Guerin said.

At his point it is unclear how much of the movie will be shot in Bucks County since most of the scenes will be based on Grogan's life before moving to Philadelphia.

Two Marley stories today. From Variety:

Fox reshuffles film release calendar
Studio moves 'Meet Dave,' 'Marley and Me'
By PAMELA MCCLINTOCK Let the reshuffling begin.

Less than 24 hours after Paramount made major changes to its release calendar, 20th Century Fox has rearranged its sked so as to take advantage of two new vacancies.

Fox has moved back the release of Eddie Murphy family comedy "Meet Dave" (formerly called "Starship Dave") from May 30 to July 11, where it has a bit more breathing room.

July 11 comedy slot was previously occupied by DreamWorks' Ben Stiller starrer "Tropic Thunder," which DreamWorks-Par will now open on Aug. 15.

With a holiday season release Fox must see great potential for this movie.

The second story is from Miami Herald.com. Shooting starts March 10 in Florida and extras are still needed. I wonder, does MegFl have acting aspirations?

Calling All Eligible Bachelors: Jennifer Aniston's Coming to Town and She Wants You
Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson will be in town filming Marley and Me, beginning March 10 and continuing for 9 weeks. The movie needs extras of both sexes, all ages and ethnicities.

If you want to apply, send a recent photo, contact numbers, height, and, oddly, your make, model, year and color of your car, if applicable to Lori Wyman Casting, 16499 NE 19th Ave., #203, North Miami Beach, FL 33162. Now we know that Wilson likes to tap into local talent, which is good news for the ladies, but as for Aniston, we're not sure she likes to mingle with the help. Time will tell.

Or a quick death. I never like when movies open Christmas Day. I liked the December 19th date but but then it would now be up against Brad's film releasing the same day and you know how that would have gone so Fox moved it... I feel like they are rush releasing this anyway. Maybe a spring time date like March. Doesn't matter what I think though.

Actually it was like a chain reaction-I've been reading about it all day. December 25th opened up because Star Trek moved to 2009.Then Reese and VV's Four Christmases moved opposite Brad's Benjamin Button-November 26th- then Benjamin Button moved to December 19th. Then Fox moved Marley and Me to December 25th. But I think this will work out for the best,Christmas day is one of the busiest movie days of the year...then you have all the holidays up through when the colleges go back to school-middle of Januray here.So it's a good move I think.... laayla

Thanks for sharing that. Does that mean all the four movies would be released this year? Im kinda hoping that it doesn't happen that way but I guess that is something that depends on the studio entirely.

The only movies that have a release are Marley and Me and the movie with Drew Barrymore. Travelling and Management haven't release.

If they were thinking a quick death for this movie they would release it in January or February. A Christmas Day release means they have confidence in it. Its also a family type film which generally do really well over the holiday season. As far as rushing the release I doubt it. They've had the script ready for a long while and they still have plenty of time for editing, etc.

Management is released September 19. So three movies going into the end of the year and Traveling probably has a early 2009 release date.

It may fair good based on the buzz around the movie or not. Given that hopefully it will draw in the kids.It will be in competition in getting the kids with Adam Sandler's film. I dunno. I am not talking script wise, just taking the time to film and edit.
