Secondly , we don't know one thing about the person so I don't get why one has to generalize things. Just because you are a celebrity it doesn't give you a free pass when it comes to things like that and considering how Jen responded it seems like she took it in her stride..lol!
Agreed. I did not mean to cause anything, my apologies. I think it is his job, I just hope he did not say it rudely, because People's article made me think so and I can not stand rudeness, being you whoever you are and whoever you are talking to.
Thanks for the info, Kathy. |

Here are the statistics on that particular school Jen visited.
http://www.publicschoolreview.com/school_ov/school_id/8673
Just looking at home size (number of rooms) and age, median income and demographics, it looks to me as if its an inner city school and one that might certainly benefit from SmartWaters program.
Quote: Thanks for the info, Kathy. Altruism and charity propably played a big part in the motivation for Smartwater to start this program, but you can't deny a commercial interest. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Its hard to tell with your sense of humor, Mr. Fish, but hopefully, you were being sarcastic because I find your quote a somewhat cynical approach to charity, particularly one involving children. |

| I am glad that the program is done in the inner city schools that need the most support. That is definately how it should be. And with the scary problem we are facing with children and obesity in the US, I am glad to see attention being given to promoting healthy kids in the schools. Sometimes, in the inner city schools, the school lunches and breakfasts are the major sources of food for the kids. |

| I think it is an inner city school. Good for her for doing that. Public schools are notorious for ignoring nutrition and healthy living. |

I would love to hear more about what she did. I think it's very important to get the message out there to kids about the value of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Kudos to Jen and SmartWater |

| I'm guessing the commercial intrest that Mr. Fish is refering to could be a reference to them signing Jen for their brand. I'm not sure. Humor is pretty subjective..lol! and its easier to get when you are having a convo with somoene face to face than in a setting like this. |

hhhaa it looks like Star has more information than other :
Quote: Aniston goes back to school
JENNIFER ANISTON has given students tips on healthy living during a speech at a school in Los Angeles.
The former Friends star - spokesperson for bottled water Smartwater - chatted with youngsters at the Cahuenga Elementary School on Thursday (16Oct08).
School boss Alvaro Cortes tells People.com, "She talked about water things. She talked to the students about water nutrition and why it's so important for all of us."

I wanna go to Courteney's house, too. She sends you home with good presents.
