Well the proverbial cat is out of the bag.
John Mayer and Jen spent Saturday at the Mandarin Oriental and this time the poolside pics leave the question “are they a couple?” a moo [sic] point.
John and Jen are definitely a couple.

Also the intrepid spys at the Mami Herald, Scene in the Tropics say John and Jen came to the Marley & Me wrap party hand-in-hand posing for the photogs. No word yet on whether or not John gave a performance for the party.
Seems impossible doesn’t it? A whole week has gone by without any news about John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston.
Unless you read the Tabloids that is… Big story there ( I refuse to call it News ) is from Life and Style which “reported” that John arrived in Miami to perform at the Marley & Me wrap party tonight. However the Miami Herald - Scene in the Tropics blogger is saying it’s not so, and the only “people” to “see” John arrive in Miami are the ever elusive and nearly always unreliable “source”.
We shall see…
Marley & Me picks up filming next week in Philadelphia and if memory serves will last about three weeks.
No word on when or if Jen will be filming, but I assume John Grogan took his wife and kids when he moved to Philly so Jen should have a few scenes to film.
John Mayer talked to Entertainment Tonight briefly while attending the Met's Costume Institute Gala .
Not sure if this is a denial Jen and him are an item or just the frustration of having to explain your every move.
Both I suspect...
From: Entertainment Tonight
"Listen, this is not a scandal, this is not an issue, this is not a problem, this needs no spin control," John said. "This is me living my life and a guy with a really powerful lens and I don't fault him, I don't fault anybody, I don't fault you, I don't fault this or that. There are much worse problems in the world. Everything's cool!"

A backdrop to the Marlins beating the Padres , 6-4, on Friday night was the shooting of a scene for the upcoming movie "Marley & Me," starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.
Friday was a "Bark at the Park" night for the Marlins, a promotion through which fans can bring their dogs to the stadium. And as it happened, a dog running on the field is part of a scene in the movie, which is set to be released on Christmas Day.
Aniston and Wilson were at the ballpark, filming a few scenes. The first took place in the stands, with a dog racing down the aisles, Wilson and then Aniston in pursuit.

Held under house arrest and secret detention for nearly 12 years Dr. Aung San Suu Kyi is the Burmese Prime Minister-elect and won a Noble Peace prize in 1991. Dr. San Suu Kyi leads the nonviolent struggle for freedom through the National League for Democracy .
Quote from: "Freedom From Fear "
Fearlessness may be a gift but perhaps more precious is the courage acquired through endeavour, courage that comes from cultivating the habit of refusing to let fear dictate one's actions, courage that could be described as 'grace under pressure' - grace which is renewed repeatedly in the face of harsh, unremitting pressure.

People magazine has this story as do all the others and are very predictably making as much out of it as they can.
It’s sometimes easy to forget that Jen as been followed around by the press and photographers 24/7 for nearly 14 years. Sure she and John both knew they would be seen, but I don’t think this was anything more than Jen meeting someone through a mutual friend (Sheryl Crow) and spending some time together over the weekend.
Jen has to draw the line somewhere with the press coverage and just go about her personal and professional business and say:
“Damn the torpedoes let’s go to dinner. Scott, get the flashlights were going out"!
When I first saw this I thought it was odd too, then after watching it play out I saw it as just “dinner”. Well Ok and lunch and lounging at the pool, but still, really just nothing.
Much is being made of John allegedly resting his head on Jens shoulder poolside, but it is really just a clever photo from a low angle that makes it look that way.
The tabloids use Jen to sell magazines, because they can, all they have to do is put her on the cover with a catchy photo and salacious headline and watch the sales rise, nothing new here either.
Stephan to this point has been silent and John was spotted back in NYC, Now if they get together again…
People magazine has updated their story, on a Saturday no less, saying John and Jen were seen walking on the beach.
Ordinarily I wouldn't use a story about Jen having lunch with someone, well maybe Brad Pitt, but People seemed to think this was important enough to get out of bed early on a Saturday, so what the heck.
I'm taking bets here that Us has them married, OK! will say she is pregnant and Star will have the Wedding Photos, all by say, Thursday.
From Linda Marx and Lesley Messer at People:
The same also seemed to be true later in the day, when the two were seen at Casa Tua on South Beach. With his arm around her, Mayer, 30, and Aniston, 39, left the restaurant a bit before 1 a.m. When they returned to their hotel, they were observed holding hands.
Jennifer and glacéau have teamed up for a new Smartwater campaign and once again feature Jen in elegant black and white photos, this time by photographer Craig McDean .

Marc Malkin at E! Online reports the ad will run as two and four-page spreads in upcoming magazines as well as on billboards nationwide.
When you want to find out good things about nice people Defamer is usually the last place anyone would look.
Always funny though, and I do believe one of the only places in the Hollywood gossip business that actually knows what the word Fact means.
So when I read this I went looking for signs of cataclysmic news on CNN believing the world was about to explode.
OK magazine on the other hand, well they do have to compete with Star and Us.
Defamer:
And you know what? Jen still looks just as good, as evidenced by these photos taken in the last few weeks. Are her lips really bigger? Nope. Is she capable of evoking happiness (unlike, say, Nicole Kidman)? Sure! But just to play devil's advocate for a nanosecond, her brows are kinda high. How dare she raise her eyebrows in a state of excitement! We call these so-called experts' bluffs, and choose instead to think celebrities can, believe it or not, be pretty without trying. Cheers.

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. On April 1st a Miami photographer, trying to get photos of Jen on the set of Marley and Me and after being told this wasn’t allowed, found himself being the hunted one.

After weeks evading detectives, a Miami paparazzo, who police say hit Jennifer Aniston 's bodyguard with a MINI Cooper, has been arrested -- sort of.
Mauricio Garces, 29, was cuffed Monday during a traffic stop. Hours later, brother Gustavo Garces, 39, born the same day but a decade earlier, called Miami Detective Ervens Ford.
He sheepishly explained the brothers sometimes switch names and he was the suspected assailant.
The charges will be switched at a May 12 arraignment.

Janice Min needs to fire her proofreaders ( Janice those are people you pay to find glaring errors in your copy ) or maybe she just needs a calculator ( those are the things you use when you can’t do the math in your head ).
Last time I used a calculator 30,000 x 7 = 210,000.
Oh well Us has become worse than Star, which is like saying falling off a building is worse than getting hit by a bus.
Pitt the Jolie fans against the Jen fans is always a good way to prop up your sales figures ( or web hits ), it’s what real philanthropists ( those are good deed doers Janice ) do…
Jen made an appearance on Oprah’s Big Give ( Video ) finale last night to the delight and surprise of the contestants. All seven of the previously eliminated contestants were given a surprise bonus; Oprah offered $10,000 for their efforts and then with Jen doubled it. Then Jen in the spirit of the Big Give tripled that to $30,000 each for all 7 contestants.
However the big winner of the night was Stephen Paletta.
Oprah finally revealed the big secret to the finalist; the 2 runner-ups would receive $100,000 to do with as they pleased and the winner would receive One Million dollars, half of which would go to charity.
Stephen Paletta, Cameron Johnson, and Brandi Milloy final Give was in two parts. While Stephan made arrangements with the Chicago Hope Academy, a school for the underprivileged, Cameron Johnson lined up Blue Man Group who donated $100,000.
Brandi Milloy went off on her own and made arrangement at the Shriners Hospital for Children. for a master chef to teach the children some of the finer points of cooking as well as donating $10,000 in toys, books and DVD’s
So I've been hanging out with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston.
Really. We were at this major party in South Miami the other night. It went for more than five hours, with people and drinks everywhere. Owen and Jen were great. They had a baby. In fact, over the course of the evening they had three babies, because there were problems with the first two.
Actually, the babies weren't theirs. And it wasn't a real party. The ice cubes in the drinks were made of plastic. It was a scene for the movie Marley and Me, which is being filmed partly in South Florida.
Marley and Me is, of course, based on the book by John Grogan, a newspaper columnist who wrote about his experiences with his dog, Marley. I want to state for the record that I am not a bit jealous about the fact that Grogan's book has sold, to date, 438 billion copies and has become a major commercial empire, comparable to Microsoft, but with more employees. This does not bother me at ALL.

"I have known Jen for years and she is an awesome woman," Berkus told us...
"Jen's wonderful and generous," says Nate. "She is a huge part of Sunday night's show and people will be surprised to see how big a part she plays in the actual 'Big Give.'"

Sunday April 20th at 7 PM the season finale of Oprah’s Big Give ( video clip ) airs with Guest star Jennifer Aniston.

Later outside, David Frankel introduced us to Jennifer Aniston, and it was the same kind of experience. She was lovely -- even lovelier in person than on screen -- and instantly put both of us at ease. But again, how stange: It looked like she had raided Jenny's wardrobe from the early '90s. And my favorite part was her ride: She pulled up to the curb in a late '80s Toyota Tercel hatchback -- except for a slight color difference, an exact replica of Jenny's vehicle from that time, dings and all.
Later, during a break, my smart-ass wife couldn't resist sidling up to Jen Aniston as she sat in her Jenny chair and deadpanning, "Excuse me, but I believe you're in my seat." Fortunately, the actress has a good sense of humor.

Nice little tidbit here. Jennifer met tennis star Jelena Jankovic in Miami.
I got to meet actors Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson. They were accompanied with their producer since they are making a movie here in Miami. They came to watch the match and they seem to enjoy tennis. All of them invited me to have dinner with them so I accepted the invitation. They are really great individuals and I had a great laugh with them. They are outgoing and very natural which I really liked. I am very communicative and I like when others are like that as well. I am attaching couple of pictures for all of you to see.
John Maine pitcher for the New York Mets is too private to release, willy-nilly, pieces of his life, and he's usually, even in the most pressurized situations, a fairly composed guy. But, you see, he has this one thing that he can't help babbling about and that makes him stammer and get all giddy and red in the face.
Just ask him what he'd like for his birthday, or for Christmas. Or which person he'd like to be stranded on a desert island with. Or why he watched "Friends" all those years, without caring one bit about the plot or dialogue and without really looking at any other character but one.
That one being Rachel Green .
That's right. Maine has a crazy schoolboy crush on Jennifer Aniston . Goes all the way back to his junior year in high school.
"I don't know what I'd say," he said. "I'd probably be so nervous I'd trip over my feet. I guess I would take some pictures with her and then give her a hug."
He paused for second, and then, with his eyes popping wide, said: "Hey, maybe she'll read this and contact me somehow and that'll actually happen. Wow, how cool would that be?"

The studio has just acquired screen rights to Jane Fallon's British bestseller "Getting Rid of Matthew," and Aniston and Hahn will produce with Lynda Obst and Marc Rosen .
Fallon, a veteran U.K. TV producer who is married to Ricky Gervais , will adapt her novel about a hard-charging publicist whose lusty affair with a married man is ruined by his decision to leave his wife and two children for her. She invents a new persona, befriends the spurned wife and attempts to patch up the marriage up so she can be rid of him. In the process, she develops a thing for his oldest son.
They have a DreamWorks deal on "The Goree Girls," a fact-based adaptation of Skip Hollandsworth's Texas Monthly article about a falsely convicted woman who gives purpose to her fellow Texas inmates by starting one of America's first all-female bands. Aniston plans to star, and John Lee Hancock is rewriting a script by Margaret Nagle.
Aniston and Hahn have been working together since Aniston was a partner with Brad Pitt and Brad Grey in Plan B , and Hahn, an exec producer on "The Departed" and New Line's "The Time Traveler's Wife," co-directed the docu "Anthem."
"We're drawn to stories about people finding their voice and finding their way because they help us as listeners and viewers do what we feel we're all trying to do, which is making sense of our lives through the stories of others," Aniston said. "That's why we chose the name Echo, to echo back an idea, a challenge, something that resonates through all of us."

Miami is being very good to Jennifer Aniston. From working on her tan to sampling the fare, the actress seems right at home when not shooting Marley & Me.
For starters, a very relaxed and radiant Aniston dined at Michael's Genuine Food & Drink in Miami's artsy Design District on Saturday night.
"Jennifer was with some big shots from the studio and a couple of friends, one guy was her traveling hairdresser," says a restaurant source of her table for five. "No one bothered them while they enjoyed their meal."
Aniston ordered the house salad and swordfish, and the table shared a margarita pizza and pleasant conversation.
"They enjoy the food and atmosphere," says the source.

The film, Marley & Me , starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, is filming in South Florida through May 28, 2008. Casting director Lori Wyman is looking for 1,500 attractive people of all races, ages, shapes and sizes, to cast as extras in various scenes being shot at South Florida beaches, parks, schools and neighborhoods.
It pays $100 a day and includes lunch.
Wyman said that applicants who show up at her North Miami Beach office stand a better chance of being cast than those who merely mail in photographs of themselves.
Applicants should mail a recent picture of themselves (face and body shot); their height; home, cellphone and work numbers; and any athletic skills that they have.
Applicants who have cars from 1985 to 1991 are also encouraged to include the make, model, year and color of their vehicle (your car may be cast in the film).

It was a mix of business and pleasure on Friday – with the actress hanging out and reading her script at the Mandarin Oriental pool, before getting in some retail therapy a day later.
Aniston hit the Bal Harbour Shops, sipping a cup of specialty coffee as she walked briskly around the elegant mall with her two bodyguards – and made stops at Chanel, Ferragamo, Gucci, Neiman Marcus and Prada.
She capped it all off with a girls' night out dinner at Blue Door at Delano, dining on the restaurant's terrace (and saved from the chilly weather by some outdoor heaters).

Jennifer is freezing her eggs
Jennifer has been celibate for 6 months
Jennifer is mad at George Clooney
George Clooney is mad at Jennifer
Jen is mad at Brad
Angelina is mad at Jen
Jen is mad at Angelina
.
.
.
And apparently Ted Casablanca is mad at Jens publicist.
Oh the humanity!
Jens reps wouldn’t respond to any of the above and apparently told Ted he should be ashamed of himself for asking.
Agreed, but Ted does ridicule the freezing egg story so all is not lost. Then, after nearly redeeming himself, Ted stoops to recalling the ( Ted it's been 3 years!! ) Vanity Fair article as some sort of excuse. As if after 3 years of silence while Ted and the rest of the Tabloid press dragged the divorce out and created the “poor Jen” magazine franchise, Jen wasn’t entitled to defend herself. Ted you have come a long way but you gotta get over this one.
So, what IS Jen doing you ask? Jen was in Florida over the weekend, I suspect it was for the Marley & Me pre-production meetings, which starts filming on the 10th. However she did have time to attend an after party for the Miami International Film Festival.
Ok, who wants to take some of this action? I say in no more than 3 weeks Jen is romantically involved with Owen Wilson, who will dump Kate Hudson. Eric Dane ( did I mention he is in the film now ) will steal Jen away from Owen who will beat the crap out of Brad Pitt. Kate will woo Wilson back after mediation by Angelina and then Eric Dane and Jen will start dating and Vince Vaughn will beat the crap out of Dane. I’m sure Jason Lewis, Orlando Bloom and Aaron Eckhart are involved too, but we will save that for another time.
Here is a sweet story from Woody Harrelson:
The more casual ensemble he's wearing today also happens to be Hemp-based, save for a pair of cashmere socks he received from an unlikely source. "I was at this party in Malibu at Courteney Cox's house, and it was so funny because I was freezing," recounts Harrelson. "I was barefoot. Now I won't say how I came to be barefoot, but Jennifer Aniston was so nice. She was like, 'You're freezing! You must be so cold.' She's very maternal that way. And I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm a bit cold.' So she takes her boots off and then takes her socks and gives them to me."
"So these are my 'Jen' socks," he declares. "And they've become kind of my lucky socks."

Additional scenes (basically the last third of the book ) will be shot later in the spring here in and about Philadelphia. As you've probably heard by now, Owen Wilson is starring with Jennifer Aniston. And yes, Jenny and I are both beyond thrilled. We think they will be just great. Besides being immensely talented, they both are so likable, charming, and disarming -- the word "adorable" comes to mind in both cases -- that it's impossible to imagine them being anything other than amazing together on the screen. Alan Arkin costars and he seems the perfect choice to portray my curmudgeonly (aren't they all?) newspaper editor. I met director David Frankel ("Devil Wears Prada") in Philadelphia a couple weeks ago while he was in town scouting locations, and left our dinner knowing my story is in very capable hands. I am impressed with the thoughtfulness and intelligence he is bringing to the film adaptation and his sensitivity to getting it right. I really love his vision and the care he is taking to capture the book's essence on celluloid.

Jennifer spent the day Monday with the cast and crew of her new movie Traveling. Sounds like a great time was had by all ( hope she got some great presents too! ).
Check this out from People:
They surprised the Birthday Girl with a "giant ice cream cake," says a source. "The crew all gathered around and sang a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday.' [There were] hugs and kisses for everyone, from everyone."
Good wishes also poured in from far-away friends, as several large flower arrangements were also delivered to her trailer.
Back in December we featured a photoset of the Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s “Gingerbread Lane” Christmas display in their lobby. Funds raised through this event were dedicated to the Canadian Make-A-Wish Foundation. The hotel’s fundraising efforts yielded almost $7K, and today I discovered that this money will fulfill a young lady’s wish to go to Disney World.
Last Sunday, January 20th Hyatt Regency general manager Steve McNally, and actors Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart presented ten year old Jennifer with a cheque for $6,600 made out to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon

Oh, Ok that doesn't include:

Jennifer is dating Jason Lewis
Jennifer is dating Orlando Bloom
Jennifer is dating David Spade
Jennifer is dating, oh you get the idea. And as usual none of it is true.
Jen was in Los Cabos, Mexico over the New Year Holiday looking SMASHING, and we have lot's of pictures in the JACF Forum .
Currently Jennifer is filming "Traveling" in Vancouver British Columbia with Aaron Eckhart and we have those pictures in the JACF Forum.
Jennifer is trying as much as possible to keep the press to a minimum now but with 4 new movies there will be plenty of time spent on the junkets so we will see a lot of her toward the end of 2008 and into 2009.
Here is an excerpt from an interview with Jen's acting coach. Jen studied under Anthony Abeson as a teenager while attending the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in Manhattan.
Q: Obviously, one of your students who's mastered this is Jennifer Aniston. She stepped into a show like Friends , where you have to hit the ground running and, yet, be funny and in complete command of your craft. I think we always saw that from her on that show, and, when the material is decent, in movies. I thought she terrific in The Break-Up. I suppose that’s something for which you can take credit?
Abeson: Oh, god, no! Did you see what she wrote about me on my website? She was very generous about that. But the thing that's remarkable, and something I can’t take credit for, is what she had when I met her. That story about doing Chekhov and people laughed; with your theater background, I'm sure you remember that Stanislavsky drove Chekhov crazy. Chekhov kept saying, "These are comedies!" Particularly with regard to Three Sisters , which is what Jennifer was working on at the time. Chekhov said, "You're making my characters crybabies!" For decades and decades, this was one of the classic artistic nuts to crack: how to find the humor in Chekhov - which is very pastel and, admittedly, difficult to discover. And here was this kid who was a teenager at the time who just naturally solved it. It was remarkable! She just went in there and made Chekhov truthful, and she found the humor! That’s really astonishing! I can’t take credit for that. But what I also tried to share with Jennifer, and what I say to everybody, is, "Listen, that's the kind of talent that deserves to work with the giants." I would love to see her do Molière . I would love to see her tackle some of O’Neill’s heroines. But this is not the kind of culture that is really alive to the concept of developing talent; they're much more alive to the concept of using it.

Here is Jennifer's coments from Anthony Abeson Website
Anthony Abeson was the first man to inform me that I was funny. This news was bittersweet considering the information came just as I exited, having performed Chekov. I came off stage and I said, “they’re laughing at me.” And he said, “I know. They were….” Awkward silence. “Jennifer, let me tell you something: you’re funny.” Offended, I replied, “I’m not funny, I’m a serious actress.” And he said, “No, no, this is not a bad thing. Go with it. We love funny. Just understand that you can’t use that as a crutch when you need to go deep.” So all these years later, I guess you could say, Anthony Abeson sent me on my path because his words, to this day, resonate in me and in my work. My instinct was to find the funny. He steered me by understanding what was inside of me before I could, and how comedy can be deepened by a dramatic moment and drama can be enhanced by a comedic approach. They’re intermingled; that’s life. Anthony helps his actors find the honesty in every moment. So for any actor to just have a moment with Anthony or a class with him, or by luck, have his words to read and reread, one will be twice or three times the actor for it.
Here is a heart warming story about Jen.
The former "Friends" star has been on location in the small town of Madras, Ore., filming the romantic comedy “Management” with Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn for the past several weeks. She was in her trailer prepping for a scene when she heard that Isaiah Beeson – an 8-year-old with a debilitating bone disease that confines him to a wheelchair – wanted to say hello., the magazine reports.
"Jennifer made arrangements for Isaiah to be brought on-set immediately,” the child’s grandfather, Danny Beeson, told The Enquirer in an exclusive interview. “It was second nature to her to want to make his day, and it was a dream come true for the little guy. Isaiah’s only eight, but he knows and loves Jennifer from watching ‘Friends’ repeats with his mom. He’ll never forget how Jennifer made time for him.”
According to granddad Danny, Isaiah suffers form osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic disorder characterized by bones that break easily. It is often referred to as “brittle bone disease”.
